I used to love history as a subject during my school years but I find now days that the history of South Africa that I learnt was not that accurate. I have been following a real interesting program on Kyknet called "The Afrikaaner" and its shows a completely different story to the history I was taught in school about all the South African Settlers and the Boer War.
I really disliked doing SA history, for what it was worth, every year. Boring! It was only doing a history major after school that I fell in love with world history.
