RE: Rewriting History: Jurassic Park 'Lied'! Multiphysics Research Says T.Rex Didn't Run

in #history7 years ago (edited)

Well one more thing that turned out to be a lie that we believed for a very long time. Most of the things are not as we thought they were. It just shows how easy it is to actually manipulate and brainwash people. And yeah, dinosaurs probably didn't even look like we are shown...

Sort:

It just shows how easy it is to actually manipulate and brainwash people.

I wouldn't go that far. It's just a matter of finding out new information. It's also a bit difficult to study a species that has been dead for over 65 million years so we are bound to make some mistakes along the way.

Honestly, it's amazing how much information we have about dinosaurs and how all this new information has changed the stereotypical view of a dinosaur.

I wasn't only referring to the new discovery. I mean you could show false information and everyone would believe it and that information could be about anything. That's why it's easy to manipulate and brainwash.

To some extent, yes you can easily manipulate information. Although, I would argue it's a bit harder in many modern scientific fields as outright false claims are disproved relatively fast by more research.

Yes I agree It's disproved relatively fast but not everyone reaches the information all the time and not all the disproved information will be changed in certain places. For example school, even if some fact is proven wrong after some time, you will still be learning the old information from outdated books that was once thought to be true, thus making you believe that it can be no different. But yes, to those who do some searching can always find the right information.

Yeah, not even CNN fakery, it's a fake reality in a movie but we think it represents the reality millions of years ago :)

lol @ manipulate and brainwash people. Science is ever learning.

Let's just get these mammoth's back already to help the environment
