A jolly crowd of ladies are about to watch a tournament. Or, at least, it appears to be so. The weapons are ready, the helmets and armours are there. The knights, however, seem to have disappeared. Such is the way of historical swordsmanship. The lure of ale and mead is just too strong to resist sometimes. :D

What country is this in? I love it when there are villages that celebrate by dressing the old-fashioned way, dramatizing activities, eating and drinking the typical foods of other times. In Venezuela there is an area where this was done, there was even a special coin that could only be used there. The town was a theatre! It is a very good way to promote tourism and socialization. @velimir is great to know through your photos the different cultures and customs that are practiced in other countries. I imagine that it is difficult to resist a beer when the heat burns with these suits, these women are worthy of admiration. A hug, my friend.
