"Famous Festival in the Philippines!" 😁😁😁

Good day! Steemians its already start of the year 2019 😁 Here in the Philippines festival preparation are already starting.Due that there are already some festival has been done and many more are comings so i just want to share with you what are the other festival that Philippines had. Festival are part of our culture and history. Festivals all over different places here in the Philippines. Festival are symbols and time where the place or the province where able to show their norms, belief and culture. There are a lot of festivals here in the Philippines that has its own story depending on which place it is located and being celebrated 😁

● Pista ng Itim na Nazareno (Feast of Black Nazarene)

These are one of the most famous and religous feast here in the Philippines. Which a life size sculpture of the Black Nazarine which will be carried out from Quiapo to roam around in designated places in Manila and be back from the church again. Many people are waiting for this feast, cause these are their vows, some says that if they we're able to touch the nazarine it could heal a sickness or if the towel that they have will able to touch tge nazarine, these are what they called "Panata" these feast is known for its miraculous things that happenings to people lives. If you tall people who are participating into these, they will have a different stories to tell.

●Sinulog Festival

These is one of much awaited event in the Cebu City of the Philippines. It was celebrated during third sunday of the January of the year. Its the celebration of the Catholic's Santo Niño. These is part of the religous catholic history in the Philippines. You can see here the energetic dance, colorful costumes and parade. And our friends from @steemph.cebu attend and witness this event.

●Panagbenga Festival

Panagbenga Festival is a flower festival which is celebrated in the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City. These is one of the longest festival to be celebrated, its like 5 to 7days its the last week of the month of February. You can see here the colorful costumes symbolizing the richness of the environmental resources of the place, performance, parade and the colorful floats. And all the souveneirs and authentic things made from Baguio is being displayed.

●Masskara Festival

One of the fanciest festival here in the Philippines, Bacolod City. These is the much awaited for the people of bacolod. They are the best place to see unique and fancy masked. During these event, there are a streetdance competition.The beats and rhythm of the Latin Music. Showing the big influence of Latin in our festival. You can see them having a parade while dancing and the gigantic masked its really fun to watch 😁

● Pahiyas Festival

These festival is celebrated to give thanks to the Patron Saint of the Farmers San Isidro Labrador. Pahiyas festival is one of the unique festival here in the Philippines besides from parades ,the houses here are decorated and showing the overflowing blessings of agriculture of the lucban and it also a competition here. You can see here all the fresh vegegables and fruits in this event 😄 yum yum 😄

As you can see there are one thing that is common in Philippines Festival and that is giving thanks to our CREATOR 😄

There are still a lot more festival here in the Philippines these are just some of my personal choice. Hope you guys can come and join us here in the Philippines 😄
