Chapter two. A soldier.
In August 1914 the first World War started and Josip took part in it as an austro-hungarian soldier at first he was sent to fight on the Balkans where Austro-Hungary fought against Serbia. It turned out that there were serbs on both sides and once serbs who fought for Austro-Hungary told the Serbian serbs to surrender but got the answer:"Serbs do not surrender! ".
After Balkans Josip was sent to Russia, where he was taken caotive and sent to Siberia. In the city of Omsk he met his first wife - Pelageya Belousova. The Russian revolution happened soon and Josip loved the bolcheviks ideas. According to the peace of Brest all the captivated soldiers must have been sent home, so Josip and his wife returned to a new country: Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians. The head of this state was a king from the Serbian KARAGEORIEVICH dynasty.
