World War Two. Europe.

World War Two was the bloodiest war in the history of humanity. 27 000 000 soviets, from 10 000 000 to 20 000 000 chinese, 6 000 000 jews, 6 000 000 germans, 3 000 000 poles(not including polish jews) and many other people from nearly every country in the world died during this terrible war, started by bloody dictators whose ideas against civilization and humanity were on the way to be realized, but they were not because of millions of people from all around the world died for human race. In my country - Russia there is probably no family, whose ancestors haven't fought in this terrible war. An American writer George Santaiana said: "The person who doesn't know his history, will  survive it again" I don't want another war like this happen, nobody does. That is why I have chosen this war as my next topic.

Before the war.

Officially World War Two started on the  1st of September 1939 when Germany attaced Poland, the real begining of this war was much earlier. Seven years before the first shoots souned in Manchjuria, China when  Japan attacked China. But today I am writing  about Europe so let's return to Europe where in 1933 Adolf Hitler came to power. A year later he will become the the fuhrer of Germany.

The other facist leader Benito Mussolini came to power ten years before.         

In 1935 the Nuremberg Racist laws came to power jews no more were the citizens and had nearly no rights. The first concentration camps were built at that time for the oppositioners and jews.

In 1936 german soldiers came to the Rhein demilitarized zone near the french border. The Reichswer with 100 000 soldiers was turned to whermacht with   1 000 000 soldiers. Hitler later said:

"Sending troops to the Rhein zone was the riskiest thing I have done in my life! "

In march 1938 Hitler annexed Austria and in autumn of the same year the Sudets of Chekoslovakia. In march 1939 Hitler occupied the Checz part of Chekoslovakia turning it to Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia - a marionetic state.
