If there were any questions about how the cups, and European fixtures in particular would affect the starting XI's, these questions have been resoundingly answered with Liverpool resting Salah and Trent, Leicester and West Ham on full-scale rotation and Man City continuing to be unpredictable - this time benching star man KDB. With so few teams left with something to play for in the league, and so many European competitions left, these final 3 weeks will either require immense skill or huge quantities of luck!

Gameweek 35 Round-Up

Once again, Mo Salah was the most popular captain option and perhaps rarely this season, his 20 minute cameo wasn't enough to get him on the scoresheet (although he certainly had the chances!) On the opposite end of the scale, Tottenham's Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane were on punishing form and this week's winner scored 73 points with the following team:

Given that Paul Pogba and Ryan Fraser were automatically subbed out makes me think that this victory was more luck than judgement but a win's a win.

Overall Ranking

With both Son and Kane in his ranks and betting against the Egyptian king, @captain36 returns to the top of the league, overtaking @the-gorilla and reversing the 12 point difference. @avagah has moved up into 3rd place for the prizes (13th place overall), 3 points ahead of @jmehta.

It was a bad week for league leader, @the-gorilla, to come up against this week's top scorer and with @captain36 winning his match-up against @hydra1, the head-to-head league also sees a new leader, @captain36 moving 2 points ahead. 3rd placed @chenty narrowly lost out to @obikay which means he's still 5 points behind 2nd place and has a podium position secured - 12 points ahead of 4th with 3 Gameweeks to go.

Steemit Cup

Of the Steemians remaining in the competition, @rubilu123, @captain36 and @petface are the only ones who have made it through to the Quarter Finals. The draw hasn't been made yet and it would be nice to see one of you go on to lift the trophy (I'm rooting for @petface after comfortably knocking me out)!
