My captain suggestions for GW35 did okay but I should have stopped with 3 players instead of trying to find 5 so I will do that today.

Mohammed Salah

It is hard to ignore Salah at the moment. He is back in form, chasing the golden boot and Liverpool need to win all of their remaining matches to get themselves a Champions League spot which almost guarantees him starting. Their opponents, Burnley, conceded 4 goals to Leeds and have been a more attacking team since securing safety to the detriment of their defence. Pope is also a doubt with a knee problem and with the Euros coming up fast, I do not expect him to be risked. Salah is my top pick by a clear margin.

Michail Antonio

Whereas team mate Jess Lingard has been getting the headlines (and blanking in the last 4), Antonio has looked dangerous whenever fit which admittedly, has been infrequently. His return from injury saw him score 2 goals and get maximum bonus points against Burnley but struggled against strong Everton and Brighton defences. A game against already relegated West Brom should suit Antonio so I expect him to get amongst the goals and is a more budget friendly option to Salah.

Joe Willock

If you are playing catch up, this is a selection that your rivals will not see coming! It is hard to explain how bad Sheffield United are and how free Newcastle are now playing having secured safety. They have scored 7 in their last 2 matches and Joe Willock has scored in both games. He appears to be 1st choice penalty taker whilst Wilson is injured again and as crazy as this suggestion might appear, he could easily continue his scoring run.
