RE: Welcome To Spurs, Ivan - Mixed Feelings.

He's an interesting signing and I'm expecting him to play as Left Wing Back as opposed to challenging Son, Kulu and Bergwijn for an attacking role.

Conte converted him to a Wing Back in his last season at Inter and he's continued to play there under Inzaghi. Conte's never seemed happy with Reguilon or Sessegnon and he'll suit the way Conte wants to set Spurs up - 5-2-2-1 with 2 attacking wing backs and Son and Kulu running past Kane. Despite his age, he's what they need and I agree that another Central Midfielder should be next on the agenda (and a centre back).

This makes a lot of sense. Using him as wing back would serve the purpose. A midfielder and a center back would make them solid and ready to challenge.
