RE: This is called the HIVE AirDrop Exclusion List. (HIVE 에어드랍 제외 대상 목록이라고 합니다.)

Yes, I guess you could say all creations begin centralized by their creators. I would say though that the witnesses were elected by the community on Steem, and after the airdrop is finished all changes to the blockchain will be made by community elected witnesses.

Sort:

I am talking about the current transition. The Airdrop blocking code, which targets many people with different think, was created by a current witness who wants to move to Hive before an air drop.
It is correct to be elected and operated by vote.
However, it is problematic for future Hive Witnesses, before being elected, to decide the airdrop block now with personal thoughts.

Being that Hive is a fork of Steem, they are already elected witnesses (if you check the witnesses page rn you can see witnesses supporting Hive by running version 23)

The only qualification for blocking people with "different think" was if they "voted a minimum of two sockpuppets and didn't unvote before the hive announcement with more than 1k sp"

Also, you may not be aware, but excluded accounts would be able to get the airdrop if they submit a proposal on hive and the community agreed to give it to them.

Who made qualification? That is the problem.
And it wasn't what the entire elected Witnesses agreed to, but a few decided.

Let's stop the theoretical story.
Different people have different ideas depending on which of the causes, processes, or consequences you value.

Accounts mentioned above are based on those who voted for sock puppets and agree to the centralization of Steem in which doesn't sit well with what Hive aims to be. It's just right to exclude them from the airdrop. Besides, no one owes anyone with that airdrop. It could be very subjective as anyone wants it to be, but the criteria is very clear.

So, please stop the whining because it won't help anymore. Again, no one owes you if you're not included in the airdrop. The Koreans were warned before that what they're doing might backfire to them. They have chosen a side, Justin and centralization side, so just stick to the centralized side under the centralized rule of Justin Sun. Just be careful not to go against him because you will definitely get censored.

I value freedom and am against censoring people because I disagree with them. If you do not value freedom, then Steem is the place for you. Because I value freedom, Hive is where I'll be going.

Anyone who runs v23.0 agrees with the exclusion list. Please see my main reply -

It will be interesting to see the difference between decentralization and centralization at least.
