Your own statements indicate that it was vengeance. Do you play soccer with your hands? Is it not against the rules? Do you believe in playing by the rules? If all it takes for you to go against your own standards is for someone else to do it first, that is an indication of vengeance as a motivator. Is it not?

It seems you don't get it. The use of hands in soccer is part of the game. It's written in the rules. There are consequences for it. If you set out to play soccer by the rules and then choose not to play by the rules because someone else has chosen to do so, you lack integrity.
