Announcement regarding the Steem Engine hacking issue

As you may already know, on November 5th, the Steem Engine node db was hacked and deleted. Currently the SE api is not working normally. We would like to inform all community users who are using Upvu in this regard:

Your UPVU is SAFU!

Upvu is operating a Steem Engine-based UPVU token(=Staked STEEM) that can be cashed out faster and easier than SteemPower. Fortunately, we back up the balance information of all UPVU token holders every day regardless of SE hacking issues.

Therefore, regardless of whether you are delegating SP or holding UPVU tokens, Upvu's voting service is not affected by SE hacking and operates normally as before.

About UPVU Token Transfer

For users who choose to receive UPVU delegation rewards in UPVU tokens rather than STEEM, you guys will be rewarded in STEEM instead of UPVU tokens until Steem Engine is restored. As shown in the image above, you can check the transaction history of steemitwallet.

This feature was activated immediately on the day the SE hack occurred

As mentioned above, all functions of Upvu are currently operating normally. However, as an exception, the UPVU token transfer function does not work until the SE is restored.

We are currently closely monitoring the progress of our recovery operations on SE. The function of converting UPVU tokens to STEEM will be supported as soon as SE is restored, and the Upvu team is currently developing to prevent the recurrence of SE issues like this one.
