Hello my friend,

Today is the last day of 2020 and it's a year of lot of challenges for everyone. Every year we are used to go for shopping during the last week of year because there are lot of sales, discounts all around the city. And we were used to go for a long trip too.

But this year due to pandemic lot of plans got upset and have to protect ourselves from Covid-19. With safety instructions my mom and I went to Galle City to buy some stuff. We thought there may be less cround in City today. But it was same as usaul and lot of people were there at shopping moles and city doing their year end shopping.

First we went to the bank to withdraw money. But there were lot of crowed over ATM too. We waited more than 30 min. in queue. After that we went to a Book shop where they do Screen Banner Printing. My dad yesterday told them to print a banner and I went there to collect it.

After that we went to do some window shopping. As I checked previously I found there there are some special Discounts on my credit card today. So I went o check on it. I went ti "Bata" shoe shop to by some shoes since it gives 15% discount on my Credit card.

I bought a pair of Black shoes and my mom bought pair of Sandal. We got more than Rs.526 discount on whole bill. Thiis is the very first discount I got from my credit card.

Then we went to buy some kitchen items and some cooking items. Since there are lot of crowed in town, we came back Karapitiya (Small city near my home) and went to "Cargills Food City" to buy some stuff. There I met one of my teacher back in college and I talked with him for sometimes.He was well known person to our family & even my mom knows him from her childhood. There we bought "SUSTAGEN" milk powder which is a Formulated Supplementary. They were bought to give my dad since he is a vegetarian.

There I got more than Rs.409 discount on my credit card too.

Then we met with some heavy rain on the way back home. We spent 40 min under a shed and came back home.

As soon as we came back we washed ourselves and clean other stuff since we have to protect ourselves.

So This is how I spent my last day of 2020. Hope coming up 2021 will be a great year.
