Inconsistencies

I had a watched a number of local movies lately on cable TV. While watching them, I used to look at synopsis, and it doesn't matter if it will spoil what happened in the movie because simply visualizing of what happened isn't how it was shown on the movie. While a movie from more than ten years ago, I searched for reviews and I found one. In the comment section, an individual expressed his annoyance on the review because of its biases. That commenter pointed out the inconsistencies, and details in every shot. Even the locations of some sequencies are even noticed. He or she may got those sharp eyes to notice such details.

I remember the viral comments towards the old movie "Meet Joe Black", which starred Brad Pitt. In two shots, the same person was seen walking at the back of Brad's character. Funny how many people even noticed that.

Yesterday, a Filipino movie was also shown called "Last Night". The female character, when she introduced her name, she stated that her name given to her was taken from a 1990s movie. However, the character is actually a ghost (which was shown at the latter part of the movie), and already died from 1973. That's around two decades earlier from where the character's name was taken. That movie is actually a love story, and not horror, which has plot twists at the last 30 minutes of the film.

There might be some scenes that we haven't seen in our favorite films, but for me, the story matters more, as well as the acting. Some scenes or inconsistencies may be noticed, but it doesn't define the whole movie.
