Nintendo Switch Games That I'm Interested In

& How Much I Would Pay for each~

Hey guys. I'm interested in Nintendo Switch system since the release of Dragon Quest XI on Switch (and before that with Super Smash Bros.) I finally picked a up Switch Lite from Amazon and I'm waiting for it to arrive to Libya these days, I thought it would be fun to see which games I'd like to get for it. I was surprised by how many there are.

I looked up more than 500 games of the Nintendo Switch Library and from those, there are 47 titles that I'm interested in (counting a collection as 1 title.) I'll talk in this article about 14 games out of them (not all of them as I don't want the post to be super long.)

While many games in my list aren't exclusive, they're all games I rather play on the go (even with lower graphical capabilities) than get on PS4 or PC. Also, there won't be many indie games here because there is always a chance of them getting bundled on PC.

I decided to buy all my Switch games digitally since there isn't any shop that sells them near me in Tripoli/Libya. (Switch is rare console to have here. Funny as PS4/XOne are very popular.)

My "Must Buy" Nintendo Switch Games

GameComment
Switch OnlineThis one isn't a game but a subscription service comparable to PS+. I would love to play more than a few NES/SNES games like Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past which I never played before for some reason. Would love to try Tetris 99 too. It's not expensive for $20 a year.
Dragon Quest XISince Dragon Quest XI isn't an exclusive, I was thinking about buying it on PS4. The Switch version however, has enough additional content that I might pay extra for this version. $60 is too expensive though. I'd rather wait for a Sale but since it's published by Nintendo there's a slim chance of it happening.
SuperSmashBros.Super Smash Bros. is one of a two crossover Fighting games I'm interested in. I know I will suck at it but I love. The game was never discounted and some characters I want are DLC characters! So for the base game + Hero + Joker it'll be at least $72! I WILL need to improve my gaming budget if I ever wanted to purchase SSB!
Pokemon Sword/ShieldPokemon is Pokemon. No Nintendo handheld (even if Switch isn't actually a handheld) is complete without one. I know how disappointing this iteration of Pokemon for the fans, but even with only half of them, there are still 400+ Pokemon to collect~ (Still not sure if $60 is worth it, I miss when Pokemon was just $40.)
Final Fantasy XIIAnother game I was thinking of getting on PS4 but I think FFXII will play better on handheld. (There was some features exclusive to the Switch/XOne versions before but they were patched recently to PC/PS4 vers. so that's not a deciding factor anymore.) I'll probably wait for FFXII to go on a %50 sale.
Fire Emblem 3HSo while I played Fire Emblem on emulators before, I never finished any. Everyone praises FE3H as one of the best games on Switch and I'm already interested in the universe of Fire Emblem. I would love to try it. Another game by Nintendo so I won't get my hopes up for a good sale...

There are games that I would love to play on the go but already played on other systems like Assassin's Creed IV, and other Final Fantasy games. There are other games that will probably be here when they are released like Shin Megami Tensei V.

My "Nice to Play on The Go" Switch Games

GameComment
Digimon Cyber SleuthI'm a big fan of #Digimon! I was planning on getting on PC. This version has Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and its prequel Hacker's Memory. I would love to play it on a handheld console more than PC. (a %50 sale would be nice)
Tales of VesperiaAnother game I was going to get for PS4. Tales of Vesperia is one of the most beloved in the series that I liked after watching a full LP of Symphonia. The game already had a good discount so I'll wait for the next one.
The World Ends With YouLoved the characters in their Kingdom Hearts appearance. I wanted to enjoy Neku Sakuraba's story on DS game The World Ends With You but decided the Switch's Remake will be better way to do so. (Would buy it at %50 off.)
BlazBlue: X Tag BattleThis is the other crossover fighter that I wanna play. It has Persona 3/4 and RWBY Characters! I heard the PC port is terrible so Switch it is. (The Regular Edition goes as low as $5! Great!)
Octopath TravelerA lot of people described Octopath Traveler as modern-retro-style Final Fantasy and I would think that is one of the highest praises one could give an RPG! Love the character design and the premise. (Not sure if I'll pay $30 for it though.)
Atelier RyzaI'm interested in Atelier games for a while and while I wanted to play Arland Trilogy first, Atelier Ryza is definitely on my lookout list! My first introduction with the franchise was with Sophie, and I like the lightheartedness of it. (Will wait for a sale.)
Rune Factory 4Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons in a fantasy setting with RPG elements. Rune Factory series has all the things I in JRPGs and Harvest Moon games and RF4 Special looks to be the best one in the series. (Will wait for at least %50 sale.)
Legend of Zelda: BotWWhile I want to play the 3DS released Zelda games first. I can't say I'm not interested in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I saw a video about how you can do almost anything in it which is awesome!
Super Mario Maker 2The Super Mario I'm excited the most for out of the whole franchise is Mario Maker 2. I like how I can make my own levels. From what I've seen about SMM, it has better tools for level designers than most if not all Game Dev engines.

There are many other games that will fit in this second list. Animal Crossing which is an internet sensation currently. Indie games like Cuphead and Stardew Valley. anime games like One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 and My Hero One's Justice 2. Retro collections like Mega Man X Collection which I'm sure would give me a good nostalgic time if I got it. But I think this post conveys the idea as is...

What do you think?

My Switch will probably take a week or so (maybe more) to arrive because of the shipping delay due to COVID-19, so I'll be waiting impatiently for it to come. I still have a huge backlog of games on PC to keep me occupied.

As I Wrote this article and looked at the list (there are +30 games in my list that I haven't mentioned in the artilce,) I feel I can choose which games to buy better. I also liked collecting all these Switch games covers for the post!

So, what are your thoughts?

Do you have a Nintendo Switch? Are you interested in any of these games? Any recommendation? Please tell me so in the comment section below. ['v']

Don't really have access to my Switch these days, but I wholly recommend Doom 3 on it and also Blasphemous. Neither are exclusives, but the novelty of having these games portable really is a plus.

Thanks for the recommendation I will definitely check them out. I never played a Doom game before, and while I heard Blasphemous name, I don't know anything else about it.

*goes to check Blasphemous trailer.
