Confirmed: This Year's E3 Digital Show Will Be Free For All Attendees
How E3 2021 will look like is still shrouded in mystery. Although, some of the fog is uncovering as E3 has released the first details of this year’s edition.
As with anything in the digital era, the first details of E3 2021was leaked to the outside world. The rumours said that this year’s edition would focus primarily on the digital part of the expo, which isn’t too surprising considering the pandemic.
The rumours also stated that the digital show might be hidden behind a paywall. And that those who are interested would have to pay if they wanted to have the full experience of the digital expo. Luckily it doesn’t seem that E3 is going Activision-blizzard on us this year, as the organization behind the event has already formally denied that such a thing will happen and the whole event will be free.
In a reaction on Twitter the organization stated that the digital show will be a “free event for all attendees. And that we can expect more details very soon.
With that this year’s edition is confirmed. However, we don’t know just yet whether or not the Expo will be completely digital or if there will also be the option for people to physically attend the event.
