85 Participants from Four Settlements Participated in MTQ Juang Bireuen City.
A total of 85 Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) participants from four residential areas in Juang City, Bireuen took part in the 37th MTQ at the Juang City District level starting Monday (1/7/2024) evening at the Meunasah Gampong Bireuen Meunasah Dayah complex, Juang Bireuen City.
Chairman of the organizing committee, Andy Rauza, said that this MTQ was attended by 85 male and female participants. They represent four settlements, namely Geudong, Gelanggang Raya, Cot Kupula and Bireuen.
The participants took part in eight competition branches, namely Tilawah, Qira'ah Shab'ah, Hifzil Qur'an, Tafsir Qur'an, Syarhil Qur'an, Fahmil Qur'an, Khattil Qur'an, Scientific Writing of the Al-Quran (KTIQ) branch ) which lasts for five days from 1-5 July 2024.
Musabaqah to prepare qari - qariah and hafiz-hafizah for the MTQ at the Bireuen Regency level later.
The Head of Juang City Subdistrict, Musni Syahputra, added that through MTQ it is hoped that it will be an opportunity for children to be able to test their abilities in terms of mastering the knowledge of the Koran in various fields.
"All this time, of course, these children have continued to practice and learn to become the Koranic generation," he said.
Through this MTQ event they can channel their abilities, as well as the aim of carrying out selection to be sent as a caravan representing Kota Juang District to take part in the district level MTQ.
"Thank God, last year Kota Juang Sub-district won the general champion of MTQ at the Regency level, this year too, God willing, we are targeting to retain the general champion," said Head of Musni District.
