The Diary Game: DAY 14 | 14 August 2020, Friday: The Spicy Noodle
I hope you had a great day today everyone! I am happy to join the #thediarygame thanks to @steemitblog and the team for this initiative and to @fycee for inviting me. I will be writing the highlight of my day daily and I am crossing my fingers that I will be able to finish this game with a big AHOOOOOO!
Ha! Finally, I woke up late today knowing that there will be no work. It really feels good to wake up late once in awhile specially if you had a tiring day. I am one of those people who wakes up late on weekends to compensate the mornings I have woken up early. Today, nothing significant happened. Aside from doing household chore and watching over the baby, my day passed by really quick. Oh, my goodness, the time seemed to be so fast as when I looked at the clock, it is already past seven in the evening!
So, I decided to eat Samyang, my favorite spicy noodle from Korea. A little trivia, this noodle became famous worldwide when someone uploaded a Samyang: Spicy Noodle Challenge video on youtube. Overnight, the video became popular and the challenge was accepted by different influencers and even the normal people like me. Another type of noodles was issued by the company after this became viral creating times 2 to 4 spicy noodles. I love spicy foods and the moment I came to know about this 3 years ago, I searched for it in every store and luckily, I was able to have one.
I honestly tried the other types of this noodles (nuclear, times 2 and 4) and my goodness, all of it are making your face numb due to the spiciness. Nonetheless, this noodle is also very spicy but somehow, I have gotten used to its spiciness. My sister-in-law tried to eat the noodle, but she only ate one spoon and after that, she despised the noodle. She was crying while drinking the fresh milk! I ended up laughing because of her epic reaction on the noodle. But as for me, this became a normal spicy noodle and I always make sure that I will never ran out of stocks.
How about you? Have you tried eating this too? Does your tolerance level on spicy things are high? Looking forward to reading your spicy noodle experience on the comment section. Thank you! 😊

I forgot the taste of Samyang. It's always out of stock here in Cebu. I've gone to 5 grocery stores already. Samyang is delicious but I can't finish the one serving. But you, on the other hand, can finish it in one sitting. It reminds me of my father. He's eating samyang like an original lucky me pancit canton. hahaha
spicy foods make me happy to the bones. I guess I'm like your father. :D :D :D
