Act of Kindness During Quarantine: Giving of snacks to the neighborhood children
During quarantine in this time of pandemic, children has a limited movement and got no chance to see other places than at home or in close neighborhood. They can play with friends but adults have to be the watch out when the barangay police is coming.
One of the ways my family could help and make them happy is to give them snacks. Assisted by my family especially @steemitcebu @sweetspicy @lealtafaith we were able to provide them cupcakes and packed juice.
Some kids were assisted by their guardians as well. There were 50 pairs of juice and cup cake served to the same number of children in the community. Some kids were not able to come but they still got some especially delivered to them.
My siblings took part of helping us. My sister Rose informed the children and guardians about the snacks and that they need to wear mask and do social distancing. While my brother Betoy was the gatekeeper only 5 children allowed after the other group.
They were instructed to go home as soon as they received their snacks and of course we taught them to be grateful by sayingthank you when they received something.
It's a wonderful feeling to able to make children happy in little ways that my family can do. I am very grateful for the continuous support the community has given me so I am/we are able to provide something for the neighborhood.
Aside from the snacks given to the children we also prepared groceries and rice given to the needy neighborhood.
I hope to serve more especially those who are in need. God bless us all
wonderful gesture @georgie84, I think the children are happy to have something that they usually have and have been restricted due to the pandemic. Hope that the community appreciates it and pays it forward too.
thanks for sharing the acts of kindness with us
