Maayong adlaw steemians!

Just this morning, I woke up early around 6:00 am so I can finish the household chores on time since I still have to check the answers of my students. So, I first cook our breakfast, clean the sala by sweeping and moping the floor, then I also handwash my uniform and some clother which are not very dirty.

While washing the clothes, a kid around 10 years old approach me and ask me if I could buy her "budbod". I am not really sure what is the english term of it, I only can share to you its details. It uses glutinous rice with coconut milk, after cooking it will be wrap with banana leaf.

When the kid approached me, I then stand and stop what I am doing and immediately go to her and choose the budbud I will buy. I bought 3 pieces and she is so happy because the budbud she is selling is almost finish.

While waiting for my hubby to get the money that we are going to pay, I had a little conversation with this young kid. I asked her who cook it. She then answered me that her lola made it. Her lola go to their house early at 6:00am and she volunteer to help her lola sell the budbud so she could also get a little commission. This young kid is very hardworking. She is the eldest and they 4 in the family(I am not really sure). She will work whatever things so she can help her mother.

So we should be very grateful to God because God has blessed us and we haven't experienced what they had experience. That we will let our young kids work so we can survive the day. It is noy wrong to let them work, what is not right is we will let them be oblige to do our responsibility in behalf of us.

But I am so amaze with this kid, because she did it with love and she just wanted to help her family, Good job little kiddo.

That would be all for now!

I invited @fabio2614, @abby0207, and @bisayakalog to share their entry.

The Samaritan,

There are kids like her in our neighborhood selling foods for breakfast and also for snacks. It's really good to help them by supporting their business and be appreciated. Good job Ma'am.
