Hoping you had a wonderful and productive day today.
Woke up around 6:15 in the morning but I really didn't sleep well last night and I kept waking up. I don't know if it's because of me being sensitive to noises in the surroundings (because my brother and his partner are watching some video in their bed and is making laughing and commentary noises), or because of me being uncomfortable in my bed. So I just went back to sleep and woke up again around 8:15 in the morning.
Later that afternoon my sister played this series called My Mad Fat Diary on our TV. It's a British teen comedy drama series that was based on the novel My Fat, Mad Teenage Diary by Rae Earl (which was also the name of the main character of the series).

We (my sister and I) really like British teen series as they really portray real life experiences of every teenager in England, or in every high school situation in other countries. American teenage series are a bit unrealistic and so much flowery and makes you expect that life in high-school is either very hard or very easy and not at the same time. American portrayals of high school situations are a bit exaggerated, the lines are a bit safe for the mass. British Tv shows are really realistic even if the show is a comedy.
We had to pause watching the series as we have to prepare food for our dinner. So we just played some videos on YouTube while my sister is preparing all of the things that she will be needing for the dish that she'll be making later on. I just opened up my tablet and made some drafts for my diary entries.
Later that night after we ate our dinner, my sister and I went outside again as my sister wanted to buy some snacks in the nearest convenience store.
When we got there, it took us a bit of time to decide on what we'll be getting in the store that it took us a lot of turns to see all of the products that are available in the store, as we are also budgeting the snacks that is just right for the amount of money that we have.
After we went back to the house, we continued to watch the rest of the episodes of the season one of the series.

After that, my sister and I went upstairs and opened our laptop. My sister wants to watch more series in her laptop that's why she opened her laptop. I opened my laptop to check my emails and also post some diary entry on Steemit.
After that I went to my bed and sleep.

I did, thank you @mikejosephortega - though my productivity was a little slower than usual... getting some stuff done is better than nothing I suppose :)
I also didn't sleep well last night. Sometimes I just wake up and lie there with a million and one thoughts rolling around my head at a time when even the birds are still sleeping, lol.
I would tend to agree with you there - also with regards to your opinions on the British series. There is a phrase which I often use in relation to American series and movies and that is "bubblegum" - because they seem to lack a certain depth a lot of the time (not to mention realism)
Judging by the cover image which you have used here - it seems like it is quite an entertaining series, so I think I will take a look at the preview and possibly check it out for myself :)
