Compare Gold and Bitcoin(BTC) exchange ratio.
You can see that Gold and BTC exchange ratio has been decreased during the last more than 10 years. You know that Gold price has been not much fluctuating during the last more than 10 years, which means it's likely been stuck.
So, I think most investors think BTC is better than Gold with respect to hedging of inflation. It seems that BTC has already replaced the next generation of asset for hedging inflation. So that, next 10 years would be also following that trend.
