Character is the only criterion by which we can test one's humanity and distinction. Character in human life is the only means by which we form our habits and habits. Character is an art. That is why some sociologists have recognized human life as a drama and man as a character in this drama. That is why Ghalib has said, "There is a spectacle in front of me day and night." In this beautiful drama of life, some people play good roles and some people play bad ones. Good and bad depend on culture and religion. In one culture, if one thing is bad, the other is good. In one religion one character is good and in another it is bad. It all depends on their founders how they laid the foundations of their religions or cultures. For example, alcohol is forbidden in the East, but in the West, people drink it comfortably. There is no restriction on that. In one religion it is haraam and in another it is permissible. The eastern half wears full clothes, but the western half, some eat insects and some are afraid to name them. In this case, the role will be the same as in that society. All human beings are descendants of Adam, but not all human beings are the same. Appearance, dress, house, way of eating, history and culture are all different. That is why it is said that the human form is a drama in this world.

When we recognize life as a drama, so are the characters in that drama. This means that we have to play our role at our time and place, otherwise our role will not be right. There are specific places, time and goals to play the role. Coherent and desirable characters complement the drama scene. In this beautiful drama of our life, from childhood to old age, a film can be made. Everyone is a subject of this film in itself. Allah Almighty has not created anyone without a purpose. When we think that there is a purpose to our life, what should we do to achieve this purpose? The biggest obstacles to achieving this goal are the questions of "what", "why", "how" and when. These are the questions we need guidance and guidance to answer. Despite our intellect, we are unable to answer these questions. That's why we look to the director and producer of this play. If one follows the direction of these people, then the drama will be not only beautiful but also purposeful. Just as the characters in a play do their part carefully, so should we do our part in life at the right time.

عمریں بیت جاتی ہے اس سفر کے پیچ وخم میں' بعض لوگ پیدائشی خوش نصیب ہوتے ہیں اُن کی تربیت فطری ہوتی ہے اور دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے وہ انساانیت کا عملی نمونہ بن جاتے ہے۔اس دنیا میں کچھ لوگ تربیت دینے کے باوجود انسانیت کے دائرے میں نہیں آتے ہیں ۔ انسان انسانیت کا عملی مظاہرہ معاشرے میں سرانجام دیتاہے۔ کسی کے عقیدے اور نیت کا اندازہ اُس کی عملی زندگی میں کردار سے ہوتاہے۔ کردار وہ واحد کسوٹی ہے جس سے ہم کسی کی انسانیت اورتمیز کو پرکھ سکتے ہیں۔ انسان کی زندگی میں کردار ہی ایک ذریعہ ہے جس سے ہم اپنی عادات و اطواربنالیتے ہیں۔ کرداریت ایک فن ہے۔ اس کا صحیح مظاہرہ ہوتو محفل لوٹ جاتی ہے اور صحیح نہ ہوتو ناک کٹ جاتی ہے۔ اس لئے بعض سماجی ماہرین نے انسان کی زندگی کو ایک ڈرامہ تسلیم کیاہے اور انسان کو اِس ڈرامے کا ایک کردار۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ غالبؔ کہہ گئے ہیں’ہوتاہے شب وروز تماشا میرے آگے‘۔ زندگی کےِ اس حسین ڈرامے میں کچھ لوگ آچھا کردار اداکرتے ہیں اور کچھ لوگ بُرا۔ آچھے اور برے کا انحصار ثقافت اور مذہب پر ہے۔ ایک ثقافت میں اگر ایک چیز بری ہے تو دوسرے میں آچھی۔ ایک مذہب میں ایک کردار نیک ہے تو دوسرے میں بد۔ ان تمام کا دارومدار ان کے بانیوں پر ہے کہ کس طرح اُن لوگوں نے اپنے مذاہب یا ثقافتوں کی بنیاد ڈالی ہے۔مثال کے طور پر شراب مشرق میں حرام ہے لیکن مغرب میں لوگ آرام سے پیتے ہیں اِس پر کوئی پابندی نہیں۔سوّر کا گوشت ایک مذہب میں حرام میں تو دوسری میں جائز۔ مشرقی پوری لباس پہنتے ہیں لیکن مغربی نصف‘ کوئی کیڑے مکوڑے کھاتاہے تو کوئی اُن کے نام لینے سے ہی ڈرجاتے ہیں۔ اِس صورت حال میں کردار بھی وہی ہوگا جو اُس معاشرے میں رائج ہے۔ سب انسان حضرت آدم ؑ کی اولاد ہیں لیکن سب انسان ایک جیسے نہیں ہیں۔ شکل و صورت‘ لباس ‘ مکان‘ کھانے پینے کا طریقہ‘ تاریخ اور ثقافت سب مختلف۔ اس لئے کہا گیا کہ انسان کا رھوپ اس دنیا میں ایک ڈرامہ ہے۔

جب ہم زندگی کو ایک ڈرامہ تسلیم کرتے ہیں تو اس ڈرامے کے کرداربھی ہیں۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہوا کہ ہمیں اپنے کردار کو اپنے وقت اور مقام پر اداکرنا چاہئے بصورت دیگر ہمارا کردار صحیح نہیں ہوگا۔کردار ادا کرنے کے لئے مخصوص جگہ‘ وقت اور مقاصد ہوتے ہیں۔ مربوط اور مطلوبہ کردار ڈرامے کی سین کو چارچاند لگادیتے ہیں۔ ہماری زندگی کے اس حسین ڈرامے میں بچپن سے لیکر بوڑھاپے تک ایک فلم بن سکتی ہے۔ ہرانسان اپنی ذات میں اِس فلم کا ایک موضوع ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے کسی کی ذات کو بغیر کسی مقصد کے نہیں بنایاہے۔جب ہم یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ ہماری زندگی کا ایک مقصدہے تو اِس مقصد کے حصول میں ہمیں کیا کرنا چائیے؟ اس مقصد کے حصول میں ’’کیا ‘ کیوں‘ کیسے اور کب کے سوالات سب سے بڑی رکاوٹ ہیں۔ یہ وہ سوالات ہیں جن کے جواب کے لئے ہمیں ہدایت اور راہنمائی کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ عقل وشعور رکھنے کے باوجود ہم اِن سوالات کے جواب دینے یاپانے سے قاصرہیں۔ اس وجہ سے اس ڈرامے کے ہدایت کار اور پروڈیوسر کی طرف دیکھتے ہیں۔ اگر کوئی ان لوگوں کی ڈیئریکشن پر عمل کریں تو تب ڈرامہ نہ صرف حسین بلکہ بامقصد ہوگی۔ جس طرح ڈرامے کے کردار محتاط انداز میں اپنا پارٹ دیتے ہیں اسی طرح ہمیں زندگی میں بھی اپنا پارٹ صحیح اور مناسب وقت پر دینا چاہیئے۔
