SEC-S18W6/Shining with your own light

1000 Steeze and 1000 composure. There are certain things we avoid doing and there are still things we do to shine with our own light and not being under someone's light as a cover. It's no new thing that everyone here and in my social life know me as @bossj23 and this name or title given me is not because I'm under someone's physical light but because of my good deeds socially, financially, Academically, spiritually and emotionally.

Everywhere I find myself, I don't necessarily give myself praise because there's only one person deserving praise. I shine my light and make my presence visible to those around me. They are the ones who make the light shine brighter while I stand as an instrument of light. This post elaborates more on how I shine with my own light.

I'm no proud person and I try being in the spotlight at all times. I always trying being the best of myself other than being better than others. Now in terms of opportunities where I think my brightness deserves to stand out is when I'm in an event probably a wedding ceremony or so. I always make sure I shine with my phone's camera as I'll take up the responsibility of capturing people.

I can remember a situation where I attended a wedding ceremony invited by a friend. I was just too busy giving out clean shots for free that many couldn't even believe their eyes. All attention was on me and I was the spotlight of the day because of my phone's clean shots. I never expected to be that popular. Some reputable men got my number to be their family photographer in just that small event I attended.

In occasions like this when others bring out their big phones to capture moments, I take out my Redmi device and give shots far more better than theirs. This is what take me places and this is when I can say I feel my brightness should shine more than others. These are pictures I shot that day to shine my light.

I became a nobody to a somebody.

There's a saying, We rise by lifting others up. I can virtually turn off my light to give others the opportunity to shine at an appropriate time because it's very useless being well known and then others are in the dark. It brings about envy and jealousy. People get to envy you because you aren't where they are.

I've done this multiple times to my students on Steemit. Although I'm known as a Boss through Mentorship, I've also given my students an opportunity to become mentors so they can shine their own light wherever they are. This doesn't just solve matters temporarily but it will help that person on the long run to see how humility can play a part in making one light shine.

Yes there are and these are people I've been so much grateful to and will always be. There's a saying that a tree cannot make a forest.. You need multiple tress that would do the job. Throughout my very existence, I've been spotlighted in various cases and I'll group them.

When It comes to training me to becoming the responsible person that I am capable of making good decisions, I give the accolades to my parents. They are the reason I'm shining today. I'll say they are the bedrock or foundation for my shine.	Familiar
My social life was enhanced by two people I consider as friends. I wouldn't have been known or heard if these two people didn't take me out of my introverted shell and exposed me to life of an extrovert
My fame and reputation on steemit wouldn't have been possible if not for my mentor who brought me into this platform steemit. This platform is a big part of my self realization and I've got to learn a lot of things. The Bossj23 and the hypes that goes with it is possible through the people I mentored and my mentor. I'll give God the greatest acknowledgement for life. Without the gift of life, your light is no more and others would be shined through it.

For now, I'll say I'm not emitting light to find her because I have responsibilities I need to offload because exposing that light to find my partner. I'm still a growing adult but have that in plan though. When the time is right, I'll make my light shine to hit that mirror that would blend or reflect as a result of my light.

In summary, I'll say everyone has their own light embedded in them. It's just left for you to bring out that light by what you do, when you do, and how you do.
