Outshining Others
Trying to shine more than others is not competition, it could be as a result of desire, desires spur up ability making it looks as if we are competition, but it isn't. Another case is when we are motivated by others, we may call them role model and our desire to be like them could make us outrun them i.e get to higher places than they do. This leads to the fulfillment of the statement, A servant should or must be greater than the master or any son than is not greater than his father is a failure, A son is suppose to do more than his father, for most of us from the Christian religion we can reflect upon Jesus statement which says you shall do more than I do. When you are given the opportunity shine brighter, because the statement opportunity comes but once is very true, if anything comes outside the original opportunity it may not takes you far like how the original opportunity should have taken you.
Share the light for others rather than dimming yours for them
Not like we wouldn't have but I don't feel it necessary because anyone who wants to shine must shine, but one thing is possible you can always help others shine rather than dimming your light, reflection of this two entities the sun and the moon, the sun sees that the moon wants to shine but he doesn't have what it takes, so he reflect some of it light to it and we can see it shine when it is time.
People are my muscle
In all areas of life people have always been there to help I think if mum and dad had abandon me when I was young I don't think see today would have been possible, in others aspect like academic, social, religion, work life people are always there to help me shine and this are mentors, men who are not self centred and they need to be appreciated.
More than a partner
A partner in this case is confusing but I think I have been able to attract people, not by strength anyways, today I got a new follower by name @ability20 and I think if someone follows you they love your work and would love to see more. So not only a partner but partners have been attracted.

Like they say, the sky is big enough for everyone to fly.
You shine without dimming others light or dimming yours for anyone and you can help others as well to shine.
It's very necessary we do our very best in becoming the best version of ourselves. A good master and leader would want the follower to represent them better, they would find happiness in seeing that you're doing better than them because that's also bringing a good reputation to them.

A very interesting article you've put up here for reading. I really commend your good work of art in writing and navivation of your points for easy assimilation for readers.
First, we all have what we have being destined to proper at and which in some ways we become the ones to learn how to become prosperous and make our light shine in that area. Just like here in steemit, we all have our abilities and we all can't shine alll at a time and so there is time for all.
"GRACE" like you outlined is not a sign of pride or a negative vibe when you shine more than others...

You penned a few lines about giving others the chance to be bright, but for this nobody needs to dim his life. I want to praise your worthy logic about the sun and moon. Truly, we are to shine, when given the opportunity it shouldn't be taken for granted. Our parent are our pillars and destinies has been crushed because of parents mistakes but thank God we have good parent, Thanks for your reply

It's interesting to see how you navigate this post in the most simple form and easy to decipher. I've learnt a lot from your post but first the title should be edited as it's not the original title. Second, your pinpointing the fact that shinning more than others isn't a sign of pride or a negative view. It's actually what we call grace. On steemit, we all have different grace and we can shine at any time even more than those who are mentors to us or have been here for years. Withstanding that, we shouldn't try to dim people's light. We should try igniting it more and also be happy as they shine. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to reading more of your posts.
