The Keyword of the Week : SNAKES

in Dream Steem6 months ago
This was during the time when I had nothing to do, no place to sleep, and ate only when I found fruits on the tree. That place was close to the desert, so the availability of water was rare, so I saw not many people like me or smaller animals. I hated eating big animals, so I often slept hungry in the trees.

Yes, it happened about ten thousand years ago when I was roaming in the forests in search of a place to live. After months, I saw a cave close to a water stream with enough trees around it. I thought, "Yes, this cave is a good place to live."

When I entered the cave, I saw a family of snakes living there. I greeted them all and requested, “Brothers! I am homeless and need shelter. Please give me a little space to live in this cave. I will always be grateful to you.”

The snakes took pity on me and accepted my request. They allowed me to come inside the cave. I was glad the cave was spacious and close to a water stream.

But after I entered the cave, the snakes realized that they had made a big mistake by inviting me inside and giving me a place to live. They felt a strange smell coming from my body—a bad odor they could not stand.

Yes, that was the natural smell of my body because I had not bathed for weeks. The snakes felt they would suffocate and die if I stayed there for a few more hours.

The head of the family, the bigger snake asked me to take a bath but I said it was too cold so I would do it later.

He said, “Your body odor is killing us, and we are uneasy by the smell of your body. You should leave immediately and find some other place.”

By then, I was comfortably settled in the cave. I said, “Brother, I like this place very much. I am not going anywhere. I have no problem at this place, but whoever has a problem, should go from here.”

Finally, the snakes had to leave that cave to save their lives. Since the snakes left, I have lived in that cave for ten thousand years and now fully own it.

After all, I am a human, and what is a snake in front of me? Once you let us hold a finger, we catch your hand. So remember, even if you are a poisonous snake, think well before helping us. We are more dangerous than lazy snakes.

The world should know that humans are the meanest species in the world so no one can beat them. Snake may be poisonous but humans are cunning and planner.

Oh dove, you sly human! Kicking out an entire snake family from their cozy cave just because you didn't want to take a bath? 😁

Jokes aside, it was a well-written piece of fiction. Thanks for inviting me. I will try this keyword if something interesting comes to mind. However, I can't promise anything.

No worries man! I didn't want to disturb you but since I haven't heard from you for the last couple of weeks I took this chance. Maybe you're too busy with your mod role or your offline activities. My best wishes for you!

I’ve been juggling a lot with my mod duties...
