Well, and I want to use your imagination once again: the idea for the new "Keyword of the Week" came to me these days when @ty-ty told me in the morning that we once again had the opportunity to celebrate an anniversary. We had been a couple for 13 half years to the day ;-)) Don't ask me why he knows that. Or the other crooked dates he celebrates with me in this way - 1000 days or 250 weeks or 45,000 hours... He knows. And I think it's cute ;-))
But that got me thinking: can we celebrate a 13? After all... Friday the 13th is considered the ultimate unlucky day among superstitious people. So - I got my driving licence on a Friday the 13th. So I can't report anything unfavourable. But there are hotels that don't have a 13th floor and airlines that don't have row 13 seats.
So what's the story behind this actually innocent number...? What do you think of the

Tja, und Eure Fantasie will ich auch ein weiteres Mal bemühen: der Gedanke zum neuen “Schlüsselwort der Woche“ kam mir dieser Tage, als @ty-ty mir morgens zu verstehen gab, daß wir wieder einmal Gelegenheit hätten, ein Jubiläum zu feiern. Wir waren da nämlich auf den Tag genau 13 halbe Jahre ein Paar ;-)) Fragt mich nicht, warum er so was weiß. Oder die anderen krummen Daten, die er auf die Art mit mir zelebriert – 1000 Tage oder 250 Wochen oder 45.000 Stunden… Er weiß es. Und ich finde es süß ;-))
Was mich aber zu der Überlegung brachte: kann man eine 13 feiern? Schließlich… Freitag, der 13., gilt als ultimativer Unglückstag unter Abergläubischen. Also – ich habe meinen Führerschein an einem Freitag, dem 13., gemacht. Kann also nix Nachteiliges berichten. Aber es gibt Hotels, die haben keine 13. Etage und Fluglinien, die bei den Sitzen auf die Reihe 13 verzichten.
Also was ist dran an dieser eigentlich unschuldigen Zahl…? Wie steht Ihr zur

Thank you. I had almost decided not to continue as steem curator after this month (I told @patjewell), but now I feel I should give it another go and support neglected authors that deserve support, and that's what I meant in my comment to your Steem Rep's post last week.
The show must go on, and the playgrounds should keep producing good players!
If you can find the time and energy - don't give up! We need fair curators with a feeling for good texts!

I don’t agree with the thesis that Steemit is a playground. Not at all. Although the concept of playgrounds may vary depending on the culture of the country. Some participants write about painful issues, others write about practically nothing, because they need to write at all costs, others simply follow a formality in order to squeeze funds out of the platform, others are looking for empathy and participation.... so endlessly. These are not games, this is life as it is, fig leaves have no place here, where everyone expresses themselves in a certain way that they consider necessary and acceptable for themselves. The platform is often called a gathering of graphomaniacs, this makes some sense, but this is a one-sided view. A place for an outburst of internal problems (look for another name, it exists)))) - this is what a platform is, a place for searching for one’s own and another’s individuality, a place for trial and error, there are many formulations, but they are not able to enclose Steemit in a cage of clear definition, apparently this and good)))
First time I hear the platform is called a gathering of graphomaniacs.
I am fine with 'the playground' since they also speak about 'the diary game'.
