Folklore
The folk tale about the friendship between a tiger and a crow is one of the folk tales that has a deep meaning. This story tells of the friendship between a tiger and a crow.
Once upon a time, there lived a tiger and a crow who were close friends. They always spent time together, forming a relationship so strong that it seemed like it would last forever. One morning, the tiger missed his friend and decided to invite the crow to lunch at his house. He rushed to the crow's house which was not far from where he lived. Arriving in front of the house, the tiger greeted,
"Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh."
From inside the house, the sound of a crow was heard answering,
"Wa'alaikum Salam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,".
The crow immediately invited the tiger in, "Come in, my friend!"
"Thank you," replied the tiger politely. "I came here to invite you to have lunch with me at my house. I will cook a delicious meal for you," continued the tiger.
The crow smiled and said, "With pleasure, my friend. I will definitely come. You are indeed the best friend!"
After that, the tiger said goodbye and went home to immediately prepare the food that would be served to his friend. When lunch time arrived, the crow almost arrived at the tiger's house. From a distance, he could smell the delicious aroma of the food. "Hmm, how delicious this food smells," he said enthusiastically.
After arriving, the crow said hello, and the tiger greeted him warmly, "Please sit down, my friend!"
"Thank you," replied the crow. The tiger immediately went to the kitchen to get the dish he had prepared.
The tiger brought a large plate of deliciously cooked meat. The pieces of meat were quite large, according to the tiger's wide mouth. he invited the crow to enjoy it immediately. The crow tried to peck at the meat with his long beak, but the pieces of meat were too big for him to eat. The crow's head often hit the plate. The crow began to feel lethargic and thought that the tiger was deliberately playing a trick on him.
Meanwhile, the tiger greedily continued to finish the food. After finishing, the tiger said, "It was a pleasure to have lunch with you, my friend. I hope we can have lunch together again."
"Oh, of course. Thank you for the treat. I hope you don't mind if I invite you to have lunch at my house tomorrow," replied the crow.
"With pleasure, I will definitely come," replied the tiger.
The next day, the tiger went to the crow's house. Upon arriving there, the tiger smelled a very delicious aroma of food, making him even more excited. "Wow, what is this food? It smells so good," thought the tiger.
After being invited in and sitting in the dining room, the tiger patiently waited for the food prepared by the crow. The crow brought the food in a pot with a very narrow mouth, not suitable for the size of the tiger's claws and mouth.
"Let's eat, my friend!" invited the crow.
The tiger tried to put his claws into the pot, but could not reach the food. Then he tried to put his mouth in, but still failed because the mouth of the pot was too narrow. Only his nose could smell the fragrant aroma of the crow's food.
Meanwhile, the crow greedily ate his food. Because of his small beak, he easily pecked at the food in the pot. After finishing eating, the crow said, "It was a pleasure to have lunch with you, my friend. I hope we can repeat these pleasant moments again."
However, the tiger felt embarrassed and offended. He accused the crow of belittling and insulting him. A fierce quarrel ensued, and both accused each other. Finally, they broke off their long-standing friendship and became sworn enemies. That's all.
You call it folklore yourself... We don't retell stories here. We are either creative and inventive ourselves or we limit ourselves. By the way, your crow is not a crow, but I'm sure you know that.
