Introduction

Hello to everyone,

We are in the second series of Professor @imagen lecture on NFTs. This post contains more in-depth information about NFT Markets. The topics we will see in general are; Good topics such as information about Nifty Gateway, types and differences of ERC tokens, usage of Etherscan.

Question 1

Define Nifty Gateway platform in depth Who are its founders? Which market or target is it aimed at?

We all know a little bit about NFTs. For this reason, many NFT platforms have been established. In these platforms, NFT is generally bought and sold, and some of them even have platforms that allow NFT to be made without any coding knowledge.

The Nifty Gateway platform was originally founded by brothers Duncan and Griffin Cock Foster and was later acquired by brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, known as the Winklevoss twins.

The Nifty Gateway platform, like many other NFT platforms, is a platform that allows us to buy and sell NFT, and on this platform, not only the creators of the work, but also the owners who bought the work can offer it for sale again. There are many buying and selling methods available on this platform. These; Auction system with open auction, trading with lottery method, NFT selling in the form of baskets, general selling (Active Market) and trading by placing bids. To explain these;

• Purchase/Sell by Auction: Any artist offers his artwork NFT for sale by auction for a certain period of time.**
• Buying/Selling by Draw Method: In this method, the artist or seller determines a price for a certain NFT work and those who want to buy this NFT at this price are registered. Then, random selection is made according to the determined amount from the people whose registration is taken and NFTs are distributed.
• Buying/Selling by Bidding: This method is a kind of auction method. The artist or the owner of the NFT offers the work in hand for a certain amount for a certain period of time. NFT is then sold to the buyer with the highest amount. The main difference of this method from the Auction system is that the specified time is longer.
• General Sale: In this method, you sell the work you own and you can buy the work whenever you want.
• Basket Sale: This sale method is the sale of baskets with a certain NFT group. The probability of NFTs appearing in these baskets varies according to their categories, and accordingly, the price also changes. E.g; Let's assume that there are 3 NFTs A, B, C in the form; The probability of item A coming out is 5%, item B is 15%, and item C is 25%.

In this platform, as in every platform, 10% commission from sales goes to the producer of the work. In this way, artists can earn income from the exchange of their works among others, after the income they earn while selling their products. The most beautiful feature of this platform and different from other platforms is that you can perform your transactions without the need for any cryptocurrency while performing your NFT buying and selling transactions. You can pay directly with your credit card on the platform, thanks to this feature, the purchase and sale prices of NFT works are displayed directly in USD. However, extra commission fees are charged for transactions paid by credit card, this fee is approximately 5%.

As long as you follow this platform, you can get information about many works. With the "Active" section, you can easily access the products on sale, and you can easily learn the duration and date of the work, which will be auctioned on the platform. It is a nice platform for both artisanal producers, collectors and those who want to earn income by trading.

Question 2

What are ERC-1155 tokens? How do they differ from ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens?

We can say that the ERC-1155 token is actually a hybrid token. It is a coin that combines all the good features of ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens.

The ERC-1155 token was originally developed in 2018 by Enjin, a gaming platform built on the Ethereum network. This token can also be called a hybrid or healing token. It was developed to fill the gaps in areas where ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens are insufficient, sometimes even called EIP (Ethereum Improvement Proposal). Well, let's see what good features ERC-20 and ERC-721 got:

• ERC-1155; they can be traded just like an ERC-20 and converted into an NFT product just like an ERC-721.

• You can send only 1 NFT for each transaction you perform in ERC 721, but in ERC-1155 you can send multiple NFTs in a single transaction. Thanks to this feature, we pay less transaction fees.

• ERC-1155; Since it is compatible with ERC-20 and ERC-721, it allows us to send two types of coins at the same time.

• If you make any mistake while sending ERC-20 tokens and send to the wrong address, the tokens will be gone forever. In ERC-1155, this situation is different, if you send to the wrong address in any way, the tokens are not lost and come back to your wallet.

As we can understand from all these features, we can say that ERC-1155 is a new generation token type and we can say that it provides us convenience in many aspects.

Question 3

Sign in to Etherscan. Please indicate the number of ERC-1155 tokens available at the time of writing your assignment. Indicate the top 5 coins based on the trading volume in the last 24 hours. Specify the Hash of the last transaction performed and the ID of the smart contract as well as the token. Show Screenshots.

The first thing we need to do is visit the Etherscan platform.

• Then click on the "Register" button in the upper left corner.
• After typing the necessary information, a confirmation e-mail is sent to our e-mail address.
• We enter our e-mail address, click on the link in the confirmation e-mail.
• Then we are redirected back to Etherscan and click on “Click to Login”. On the new screen that opens, the login page is waiting for us and we enter our id and password here and click on login.
• Then we successfully log in to the Etherscan platform.

These operations are as shown in the screenshots below, respectively.

Then we come back to the Etherscan homepage. Here we will examine the ERC-1155 token in detail from the “Tokens” section.

• As you can see in this screenshot, there are a total of 18,057 ERC-1155 coin contracts in the area shown with box 3 on the screen that appears after following the necessary steps.

Then, the Token list is displayed on the same page to determine the first 5 coins according to the transaction volumes in the last 24 hours.

To examine the last ERC-1155 transaction, we follow the steps below.

• First, from the "Tokens" section, click on the "View ERC-1155 Transfers" section.
• The last operations appear in the menu that appears later. Click on the above action.
• Then on the screen that opens, we are greeted by the details of the last transaction.

As we can see in the screenshot above, the details of the final process are as follows;

Question 4

Enter Enjin wallet. Explain the functions it offers in the user interface. Enter the Marketplace: specify the number of items for sale, the first 3 items in the list and their descriptions. Show Screenshots.

First, we log in to the Enjin platform.

• Then we click on the Get Started section. Then on the screen that opens, we click on the Wallet Download section.
• We are presented with two download options; Google Play and AppStore.

• After this step, I will continue from the Appstore option, so I switch to my phone and after typing Enjin in the Appstore, I say download the Enjin Wallet option. When the download is finished, click open the program.

• Then we click on the Crypto Wallet option and click on the “Create Wallet” option from the new screen.

• After giving the necessary approval, the screen to set our password appears.

• When we continue the process after we set our password, we choose the coins to be shown in our wallet. After choosing the required Coins, he shares our seed passwords that we need to lose, we should save these passwords somewhere and not lose them.

• Later, we ask for some of these verification words given to us back from us, and after entering these passwords correctly, we create our wallet.
• In the drop-down menu of the wallet we created; Menu options such as Wallets, Assets, Scan QR, Linked Projects, Contact Support and Settings are available.

Then we will follow the steps below to log in to the Enjin platform.

• First, we go to Enjin.
• Then we click on the “Log In” option. On the screen that comes up, "Don't have an account?" we click the button.

• On the screen that appears, we fill in the necessary information and press the "Sign Up" button. (Name, Email, Password).

• Then a confirmation e-mail is sent to our e-mail address and we open this e-mail and perform our verification process.

• Then we successfully become a member of the platform.

When we want to explore the Enjin platform in general, on the first screen that welcomes us; There are sections such as Products, Solutions, Resources, About, Log in, Get Started.

As you can see in the screenshot above, when we come to the Products section, a menu welcomes us. In this drop-down menu;

• Platform
• Wallet
• Marketplace
• Efinity
• JumpNet
• Beam
  There are such options.

Platform: When we click on this option, we reach general information about the platform on the screen that appears. For example, there is information such as you can produce your NFTs without coding knowledge.

Wallet: This option is Enjin Wallet option and I have explained the steps we need to follow for its installation in detail above.

Marketplace: When we click on this option, a lot of information welcomes us. E.g; It is available in general information such as Market Volume, Blockchain Assets, Assets Sold.

• Marketplace Volume: 44.7 Million
• Blockchain Assets: 1.1 Billion
• Assets Sold: 832.7 Thousand

Also in this section, we are greeted with an option called Explore the Marketplace, and when we click on this option, we reach information about the items for sale.

• As you can see in the screenshot above, 17,491 products are currently on sale.
• Just below, there are sections such as Marketplace, Activity, Ranking. It is possible to reach all sold products, activities and rankings from these sections.
• When we come to the ranking section, in the first three rows; There are "Lost Relics", "The Six Dragons" and EnjinCraft. This ranking is ordered by their monthly volumes.

When we come to the next section, Solutions, we are; Options such as Games, Crypto and Software meet.

When we come to the Resources section, we can reach many things about the platform. These; Options such as Blog, Help Center, Documentation, Discord, Press Kit are available.

In the About section, we can also access a lot of information. These can be called general information about Enjin. These; Why Enjin?, Powered by Enjin, About US, Careers, Newsroom.

Finally, there is the Log In option and the Get Started Option. We have explained the Log In section and how to register in detail before.
In the Get Started section, there are information and guidance on topics such as Platform, Wallet, Marketplace and Beam. In short, we can say that it teaches how to use Enjin.

In your personal opinion, what is the future of NFT Markets? Give reasons for your answer.

NFTs have started to show themselves in many categories with the advancement of blockchain technology. It continues to progress and develop day by day in various categories such as sports, art, music, games. NFTs do not have a specific price value like other tokens, so many products can find buyers in large quantities on the NFT market.

I think that the importance of the NFT market will increase in the coming days and its demand will increase at this rate. Because to produce NFT, many platforms have the opportunity to make any NFT you want without asking you for any coding knowledge. In addition, many NFT platforms buy and sell cryptocurrencies, but today this situation is changing and NFT can be bought and sold in dollars in the form of credit card payments. The best example of this is the Nifty Gateway platform. Although we have to pay some additional commissions, people who do not have any knowledge about cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency exchanges can easily buy and sell NFTs.

In order to make money on the NFT market, you don't need to just produce an NFT.

Since NFTs have spread to many areas, artists can even sell their physical works by converting them to NFTs, of course, in such cases, they send the physical work to the buyer. For this reason, many art and works of art can be delivered to people from all over the world from where they live.

When we consider all these features, it seems impossible that the NFT market will not develop, but of course, time will tell us.
