I will be taking question 3 of it.
1. WHAT IS BLOCK EXPLORER
Block Explorer is a program or information, used to explore or view all cryptocurrencies transactions. The information comprised in a block can also be explore and view how transaction has been going through a particular block.
1i. And what is its purpose and use?
Respectively, A block explorer can be use to view all ongoing and foregoing transaction on a blockchain. With Block explorer, transaction records or reports can be surveilled. Block explorer allows you to view or survey all total blockchain plaform in which you are making use of. Block explorer is also dominant because it allows the essence quality of originality in blockchain technology. Block explorer purposely allows a transpicuous tracing or tracking of every crptocurrencies transactions made. In other words, Block explorer helps in summarizing the cost or amount of a certain cryptocurrency.

FOURTH STEP:
After clicking the search button, it will lead you to the next page, where you will see all your account details. Both the current transactions you made and also, the complete voting power, downvote power and RCs of my steemit account. Now, i want to check the details of my lattest transaction, all i did is, clicked the hash tag which is at the right side of the page.

Paste the hash code you copied in the search bar. It will explore your transaction details made in your steemit account.
CONCLUSION
Block explorer is something we need to embrace on because it helps or allow us to have the opportunity to access all information going on in any steemit account. It also allow us to summarize cost of a particular cryptocurrencies.
