Homework Guidelines

We are keen to ensure that all contributions to the Steemit Crypto Academy are of as high a standard as possible.

While the Crypto Professors may set specific requirements for some of their homework tasks we would suggest all students follow these basic guidelines…

  • Title the post with the format - Your Title - Crypto Academy / S5W4 - Homework Post for [name of Crypto Professor]
  • Homework posts should be at least 300 words
  • All work should be your own - plagiarism will not be tolerated
  • Any graphs, screenshots, quotes etc used from other sources should be fully referenced
  • Any images used should be from copyright-free sources and fully referenced
  • Homework posts should include the tag #cryptoacademy and the tag specifically required for each homework task in the first five tags. Posts should also include a tag for your country.
  • Tag the relevant Crypto Professor to help them find your homework post.

--

For Season 5 only people actively, and successfully, participating in #club5050 (or higher) will be eligible to take part in the Crypto Academy homework tasks.

To take part in #club5050 you must be powering up at least 50% of your earnings, and over the previous 30 days, any cash-outs or transfers must be matched by equal or greater power-ups.

You must also not be powering down, nor using any vote buying or bid-bot services, nor delegating to any ‘investment services’ or bid-bots.

PLEASE NOTE - we reserve the right to reduce the vote of anyone not following the rules of #club5050 correctly, so make sure you are familiar with the requirements and check your balances with https://steemworld.org/transfer-search.

Anyone doing #club75 or #club100 may receive additional votes from @steemcurator01, although these votes are not guaranteed.

PLEASE NOTE - To take part in the Academy you must have powered up a minimum of 150 STEEM in the past month.

Please make sure you send your homework posts into the Crypto-Academy community…

Homework posts should be submitted no later than 11.59pm UTC, on Saturday, December 11th, 2021.

Please check each Professor’s post carefully for any special instructions they have given for their homework task. Once you have completed your homework post make sure you leave a link on the Professor’s post to ensure they see it.

Following all these guidelines carefully will help you gain higher vote rewards for your homework posts.

The Crypto Professors will be on the lookout for plagiarism, content farming and other forms of abuse.

Anyone found doing any of these will risk being banned from the Crypto Academy.

We hope you will all enjoy Season 5 of the Crypto Academy.

There may be tweaks as the weeks progress. Make sure you check @steemitblog regularly for any changes to the rules.

Thank you

Cryptoacademy has become undoubtedly a wonderful learning platform. All the professors leave no stone unturned to impart quality and practical knowledge. But i would ike to highlight one point here that, some Professors at times set homework task as per tha availability of the resources like hardware ( laptop, deskrop etc) to them. They don't consider compatibility of devices in general. To be specific the week 3 task of professor sapwood is example of that. I tried to do that from my 2 laptops but failed. I ended up wasting my precious time for nothing. I know there are students who did it but I am talking on behalf of all. I can give examples of at least 3 more students who faced some problem. So I would sincerely request all professors to not set such assignment which do not benefit majority of students here. I believe, advanced tasks are so called because they impart some advanced knowledge and not because they need advanced hardwares. Such assignments are demotivating and discouraging.

Thank you.

Sometimes this platform doesn’t act like a decentralized platform. You initiate a hashtag #club5050 and make it compulsory for everyone to participate those not participating will not get upvotes from either the curators either. Now the questions is the newbies that will be joining how so you expect them to get the upvotes to power up

When you go round instructing users of the the steem curator04 and booming accounts to only vote those successfully participating in club5050. How then will they get votes. The team even when further to add another rule of 150 minimum are you trying to get rid of us or bring more people?? If it’s to bring more people into the platform you are doing The opposite.

Actually Steemit CryptoAcademy and steemit in general was very exciting until you set some rules and then you set another rule that make it impossible for users to get to for example how can someone who is not getting vote successfully get up to a rep of 50.??

And you also say no not voting common you think about it. This is not a centralized platform where you can just wake up and set rules if you don’t abide by you will be penalized or if so I think you should start deleting the accounts of people not participating in the #club5050 because everything now evolves around this initiative☹️. I know you are gonna ignore but I have said my peace and I think all the users need to do same. Am very disappointed
Cc @steemcurator01 @steemcurator02 @sapwood

You perfectly right, I had problems in running the installation exe file and had to abandon. I did not complain thinking it was just me.

Thanks for rising this, i think the professor should consider hardware and application compatibility when setting assignment.

Basically I tried from multiple devices and contacted multiple users. All experienced some sort of issue. Morever, I tried to contact professor on his post and I received reply from co professor after 24 hrs and by than 2 hours were left for deadline and the solution provided didn't work either.

Hello I really write because of the concern that exist in the number of people who are turning off in the community, so I see that the decisions taken by some leaders are ending the ecosystem of the community many do not have 150 Steem to start, others can not give 50% and esdificil reach 65 dereputacion and less with teachers who do not look at the effort of the creators of original content.

There are teachers that despite the fact that the task is done to perfection, they do not take into account the hours and hours of work that have to be invested to perform these assignments are quite long.

I leave a proof as evidence:

https://steemit.com/hive-108451/@laser145/audius-decentralized-music-platform-or-crypto-academy-s5w3-or-publishing-tasks-for-wahyunahrul

You have to edit images, enter into platforms, register, take picture by picture and then try to make it fit into your assignment, it really takes a lot of time.

I've lost the courage not as before to perform tasks and courses in the academy for this reason I express freely on the platform I have every right to do so as I am a participant in this community. and like me a large number of people are losing interest then we want ? that there is an active community of content creators, or gradually phasing out the content creators with rules that prevent their participation ?

I think the academy was better as it was when it started in February and March 2021. i liked it better at that time than with all these restrictions they are putting in place. or just break place centralized steemit ? you can talk to us clearly we will understand and we will make a decision to continue or shut down.

I also know that the administrators are busy day by day and we thank them for their valuable effort but what are they doing ? the students are shutting down the academy is getting lonely we want them to explain to us where we are going what are we going to do in the future ? steemit will be like this all the time ?

Sounds great. I'm interested with regards to the designations. On the off chance that individuals will expound on the quality as opposed to naming their companions (or themselves), I might track down a couple of new clients to follow.

Hanya ini yang dapat saya lampirkan, semoga andA sudi untuk membantu saya , agar saya kedepannya bersemangat lagi untuk berkarya dalam platfrom steemit ini salam dari saya @ramadhan98

Thank you so much for this great opportunity for all Steemit users.
As always we continue to translate the post each week for our community.

I thought there was meant to be a December package to help us.

The advert has been on for a long time and now we are in December, please will it be an extra vote or how is it done?

I have just joined here. Is there any such courses / exercises for people who have joined very recently? Thanks in advance for your help and support
