DAILY VICTORIOUS LIFESTYLE.

Your victory today is not to be seen as a guarantee for your victory tomorrow, unless you are able to show the same diligence that gave you victory today. Divine processes don’t fail, you can count on them for victory any day. The problem which many encounter in inconsistent results is really not the devil, neither is it in God’s unwillingness to give steady results.

The real problem is with man in his slackness towards the demands of God’s love. Men tend to receive from God and relax, putting a sealing on what they feel God can do. They receive and they feel they’ve seen it all. What have you seen of the God Whose ways are past finding out? God does not expect us to receive and retire. He expects us to receive and retire in our quest for more of His power and glory. It doesn’t matter the much of God you seem to be enjoying right now, there is always more of God to be enjoyed and God expects us in a steady and consistent form of living, to retire until we acquire.

If you seek consistent results with God, you will have to be consistent in your approach towards His precepts. To the faithful, God shows Himself faithful; but, the unserious ones will not find God sweet. When you arrive at the port of any glorious encounter with God; you must not lose sight of how you got there, because you will need to refire with that same diligence to move from there unto greater heights. Your victory today must never be seen as final, because there is no end to success. If you are succeeding today; God does not want you to stop succeeding. In the words of the songwriter – “from victory unto victory, His army shall He lead; till every foe is vanquished and Christ is Lord indeed’.

Your victory today is not a serious threat to the devil. The threat the devil has is your eagerness to refire unto greater heights. There is nothing about your victory today that the devil sees as a reason not to confront you tomorrow. If anything, he comes around and seeks to ruin your testimony if you will allow him. If he could approach Jesus after a victorious fast of forty days in the wilderness; there is no height of victory you attain, in which he will not seek to show up. No matter how he comes; if you will be ready to show the same diligence in your pursuit for God, you will pursue the devil out.
