It's ridiculous to think that God will bless the church with wealth the way he blessed Abraham. The New Testament never speaks of wealth as a reward for believers. Instead, our blessings are spiritual in nature.

And if Abraham's blessing is also for the church then why is the church in the third world so poor?
I dont join theological issues with you, having known your occupation for the past few years. I am responding for the first time. Your cut and paste long bible passage I quite understood however, I live by my own understanding of it by the holy spirit. I wish to inform you here that we explain scripures with scriptures. You dont form a doctrine using one passage of the scripture. This leads to error.
Abraham blessing is about the prosperity of Abraham. Jesus Christ is an offspring of Abraham and as he is so are we through him who had begotten us. Abraham's bessings are for the Church by extention through Jesus Christ.
In as much as I deem it an insult regarding some peoples in certain parts of the globe as 3rd class humans, I put it to you that you are a racist. The people you call 3rd class are so rich in everything wealth, but you who call them 3rd class people are the theives, scavengers, who came to their inheritance to subjugate and impoverish them and turn around to call them derogatory names. God is not man you know.
By your last question, you want me to believe that the peoples you called 3rd world are not the children of Abraham because they are poor and YOU are rich. This is the errornous messages you are dishing out to Africa. You Europian Christians so called are part of the problems and impoverishment of Africa.
