¡OUR FOCUS IS JESUS CHRIST!

Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ at all times, because if we deviate or neglect even a matter of seconds we can run the risk of completely losing our focus that is and should be Jesus Christ in any scenario that life puts us in front of, well no there must be nothing and no one who can take the place of God if we always keep him present in our life and in all our determinations

Today I thank God for having helped me and allowed me to this day to keep me in his focus. Thankful to God, immensely grateful!

In the bible we find a man named Peter who taught us that whoever loses his focus on Jesus sinks, as shown in the following verse:

Matthew 14: 30-31 ESV
But seeing the strong wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying: Lord, save me! At the moment Jesus, reaching out, took hold of him, and said to him: Man of little faith! Why did you hesitate?

Through this verse, Jesus wants to highlight the greatness of faith in the life of the disciple, in which he shows how important it is to follow Jesus even in diversity and motivates his followers to be people with faith and boldness so that when he comes We can face difficulties victoriously in our lives if we continue focused on Him, because it is not the same to face discouragement, adversity, problems, diseases ... focused on Him than on other people or on other false gods

The bible also gives us a warning about those who build on the rock or those who have their focus on God.

Matthew 7: 24-27
So whoever hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house on the rock. The rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew, and beat against that house; and it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock ...

Christians are called to build on the rock that is Jesus Christ, for what? for when precisely what is mentioned above arrives, let's not lose our focus since God will take care of us just as he was with Peter and all those who remain in his focus so that we do not lose faith
Remember that Jesus never said that we were not going to have problems but rather he warned us that the world would have many afflictions but that we should trust because our heavenly father has conquered the world, no one can defeat him!

Beloved brother, beloved friend, do not lose your focus on Jesus who is the only guarantee we have in this life and in this world of being able to firmly bear all afflictions, let's not divert our gaze to place it on ephemeral things, keep your gaze on God and this way you will keep your focus in the midst of circumstances in the only one who can make the impossible possible

Remember those words said by the prophet Jeremiah when he had difficult times but in the midst of them he was able to keep his focus on God saying the following:

Jeremiah 17: 7-9
7 »Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord
and puts his trust in him.
8 It will be like a tree planted by the water,
that extends its roots into the stream;
he is not afraid of the heat,
and its leaves are always green.
In times of drought he is not distressed,
and it never fails to bear fruit.

What wonderful words, what a privilege we have when we trust God! how happy all of us are who put our eyes and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ
