The only foundation in the crisis is Christ
He who survives the crisis is the one who hears the word and feeds on the word is the one who embraces the foundation is the one who keeps the word is the one who secures the foundation is the one who believes the word because difference and surviving in the crisis it is determined by your foundation that when the top of the storm comes and hits it is held on the rock
We can exemplify this reflection when we see some tree shaking by the force of the wind but it does not fall because its roots support it with impetus because Christians when we remain in his word and embraced on the foundation when the crisis comes God gives us strength to be able to bear it because we We have taken refuge in the true foundation that is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 2:20
20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, the main cornerstone being Jesus Christ himself,
King James Version
Jesus is our foundation the only cornerstone where we must rest and where the ancient apostles and prophets rested and did feats in the midst of the crisis
Matthew 7: 24–27
"Anyone, therefore, who hears these words and puts them into practice, I will compare him to a prudent man who built his house on the rock. The rain descended, rivers came, winds blew and struck against that house; but it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock. "
(RV1960)
This verse argues what I have said about the crisis because we have to hear the word and not only hear it but do it, that is to say, practice it when the obstacles come, the storm does not hit us because we are founded on the rock we have founded on the truth
However when the opposite happens the Bible also tells us who we are like when we do not build on God or keep his word
"But to anyone who hears these words from me and does not practice them, I will compare him to a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain descended, rivers came, winds blew and beat against that house; and it fell, and it was great its ruin. "
(RV1960)
So the difference of surviving in the face of the crisis, is in the foundation and if we have Jesus as the foundation we can and live confidently in the midst of the crisis because he supports us.
