Your Boat Will Not Sink.
Matthew 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
Peter was a highly effective and committed apostle of Jesus Christ. By virtue of his position as a beloved, one would expect him to be a giant of faith. But our walk with God is not a guarantee that moments of fear won't come. The moments of fear is the time to cry out to Jesus for help. Most times we try to figure it out on our own. Most times we call on relatives, pastors or friends, which are good things to do. But have you told Jesus about it?
Jesus is the only reliable helper we need. He has the ability and power to use anyone or anything to help us. When He stretch His hands there's restoration and safety. When He stretch His hands there's joy unspeakable. When the King of glory arise, there's liberty and fulfillment. The storms doesn't have to stop, for he's able to help in the midst of chaos. Don't give up and don't live in self pity. Don't hate those who saw you sinking but ignored you, they are not your Savior. Jesus is all you need. Call upon Him right now. He's always there to help.
Let's pray together.
Abba Father, thank you for always being there for us. We cry out to you oh Lord, please rescue the helpless and deliver our brethren who are about to sink. Let there be restoration today, in Jesus name. Amen.
