When your children are a model of children in the eyes of God
Correct your child and it will give you rest, and it will give joy to your soul. Proverbs 29:17

I still remember those days of my childhood in which I had to run because my father came behind me with a leash to punish me for my bad actions.
I was a very naughty child, more than normal, and my father's correction always came to me, in order to make me understand what behavior and attitude I should assume.
Over time the corrections paid off and this helped me in my personal and spiritual growth.
God commands in his word that parents must correct or discipline their children, without this meaning that he passes his hand in correction. Unwanted behavior does not please the earthly father or the heavenly Father. A correction in time will help correct future inappropriate behavior of children.
Now it is up to me as a parent to watch over the discipline and behavior of my two children, so that when they grow up they become model children that please both God and us, their parents.
Today, my father rests and relaxes a lot because he raised me in an environment in which discipline was required to shape my behavior. Today I am a professional with a beautiful wife and two beautiful children under divine cover and an earthly father who loves us very much, to whom I owe what I am, for having been educated under the correction and teaching of God.
My father feels very happy and exhilarated by the teaching on time that he gave me as well as the rest of my brothers. There is joy in his life for the family that with effort and correction he had to raise.
Correct your child and it will give you rest, and it will give joy to your soul. Proverbs 29:17
