THE PATHWAY TO VICTORY

The operational realm of constant Victory is what God is set to take His children into this year and beyond. It is not a coincidence that Koinonia ENI has the same theme for the year. But the same Spirit of God who has foreseen the year 2021 before we stepped into it has given us the assurance up-front to be our year of Victory.

Many will want to assess this year with their physical eyes but they wouldn’t be able to predict the event of this year accurately because, with the eyes of the flesh, we might not see the storm calming down or the waters upon the earth abating, but those that will walk with God and anchor their faith on Him shall experience VICTORY.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the VICTORY that overcometh the world even our faith. 1 John 5:4

What is VICTORY?

The state of having won competition or battle.
I decided to bring up this definition not because we are not acquainted with the definition of the word VICTORY, but to call our attention to the most important factor that bring VICTORY. Are you ready?

“Battle”, “competition” “challenges”

Anyone prophesying to you that it will get better, is lying to you. The world and it’s system is not getting better. Am not saying this to get you scared.

“For God has not given us the spirit of bondage again to fear, and we have not received it either, but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba father.” Romans 8:15

We must understand that there is no victory without a battle, challenge or a competition and more also, you cannot be victorious if you are not engaged in the battle.

Many believers are at the defensive position, that is the reason they have been defeated and afflicted despite Victory has been won for them through Christ.

We must have this understanding that we are not trying to gain this Victory but to manifest it because Victory has been won.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. For it is the Lord that will fight for us and we will hold our peace. Exodus 14:14

Let me categorically affirm here that our first point of Victory is our experiencial knowledge about Jesus. Listen, it will be tougher for those who are not in the house hold of the redeemed, who are bought with the price of the blood of Jesus. Your victory is guaranteed in Christ. Any life without Jesus is at risk in time and eternity.

There are lots of people who are not sure about where they stand in Christ. The storms of this year might sweep them away because they are not sure or they are still playing double standard with God.

Scripture says “Let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12

Permit me to explain the word “think” as used in the scripture above. Most people often use the verb “think” in the present and past tense. “think” shows some amount of uncertainty, but the exact level of uncertainty that it shows varies among speakers.

Although, “think” has a similar meaning as “believe” but “believe” is slightly less common and slightly more formal and it shows lots of certainty and confidence when used.

So permit me to bring that scripture in two perspective.

  • To those that are not too sure if they are in Christ should take heed less they are overtaken by the battle of this year.
  • And to those that are certain they are saved, should at the same time remain constant and consistent in their conviction and faith this year because the love of many will wax cold. So don’t be too confidence in yourself neither in your strength to live Holy or righteous, but rather to depend on the Grace of God to help uphold and sustain us this year because it is God that worketh in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Your boast of being righteous by your making will only led you to your downfall, take heed. Our boast this year should be that we know the Lord and His grace upon us leading us into our preplanned Victory.

If you have not given your life to Christ or you doubt if you are saved, say this prayer sincerely:

Lord Jesus, I come to you just as I am, I am a sinner seeking for salvation, forgive and heal me. I accept you into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, erase my name from the book of death and write my name into the book of life. I surrender total to you, be my Lord. I am born again through Christ Jesus, Amen
