The Hands that Lifted You Up
I have seen and also heard stories of people who have sought and received help such as being given money to pay school fees and other bills, being given food to eat, clothes to wear, place to sleep and many more. Other people even receive recommendations and promotions at work due to the help of others.
However, it is so appalling to note that out of the numerous people who receive help while climbing the ladder of life, only a few actually remember to appreciate and honor those who helped them when they needed help the most.
My advice to you reading this message today is that, always remember your past state in life, the kind of life you lived before you got to your present state and also remember to honor anyone who has contributed in any little way to push you to where you are today. In addition, never hesitate to help other people just like you were helped.
On the other hand, if you've helped someone in life and the person seems to have forgotten you after his/her success, my advice to you today is to never stop helping others. Your kindness will surely reach a person who will remember to honor you beyond your expectations.
May you not forget to honor the hand that lifted you up when you were down, the hand that wiped your tears when you cried, the shoulder you leaned on when you were distressed, the stomach that went hungry just to give you food, the hand that opened up to give you money when you were broke and the person that recommended you when you needed it.
