RESTORING FELLOWSHIP

in HeartChurch4 years ago (edited)

One of the things that has been lost in these times is friendship, sometimes we observe how little by little friends are fading, we no longer think of the other but of the "I" in what I need, selfish desires when there is a world that cries out to be a companion, to walk this beautiful journey called life hand in hand with God and with our friends.

I love a bible verse that says: God, through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:18

Restore relationships will always be highly valued, if we think about what life is about we will realize that it is about relationships, learning to love and God is interested in us promoting the value of companionship and brotherhood. Jesus told Peter that he was going to become a fisher of men, the messiah was oriented to satisfy that emptiness that existed and still exists in the heart of man by separating from God through reconciliation.

It is not well seen that between Christians there is not a good companionship, it is part of the testimony that we must have as a believer, I am one of the people who believe in the ministry of reconciliation, it is like carrying the message of unity that Jesus professed here in Earth, if we want God's blessing on our lives we must be peacemakers.

Jesus said: blessed are those who work for peace, he did not say: those who love peace, because I believe that we all love to have peace, he spoke of work, of action because peacemakers are difficult to find, but not all is lost, peace we can develop it as we advance as Christians.

As a point of reflection I want to say that working for peace is not fleeing from problems, but facing them or creating them for the common good. To restore relationships we will need the guidance of the Holy Spirit a lot.

When a problem has happened to me with someone I always take the initiative regardless of who offended, do not wait for another person to appear before them with a peace conference.

Tips that never fail when it comes to resolving conflicts is understanding, visualize the problem not the person, remember the word: The kind response calms the anger, but the aggressive one adds fuel to the fire.

Careful reading of Philippians 2.1-8 helps me get my pride under control. It reminds me that Jesus humbled himself to death for me. Surely then, I too can humble myself enough to sincerely ask for forgiveness.

That is why my dear friends, I invite you to forget the past, to think about how good it is to have companions, we are going to restore all those relationships that have been divided by differences that can be fixed, in this consists the love of God in us.

Great message. Though it's not easy to reconcile again with someone especially when the person did something that seems unforgivable to you, we must always think about what Christ himself did for us and nothing else will matter anymore. It will be very easy to forgive your fellow human.
