Greed is the excessive desire for what is desired, a greedy person only thinks of himself, he is selfish and the more he has, the more he will want, he is never satisfied. Much is said about greed around money, but in reality, it is not only money, but it can also act on anything that can make human beings obsess over wanting more and more.

One of the worst traits that a person can present is being greedy, it is an evil that humanity has carried for centuries, greed can lead you to commit criminal acts, to harm others without any kind of remorse.

There is a very fine line between what we want and greed, you can be falling into greed without realizing it with such simple things, if you need to wear a bow on your head, go out to buy it, do you have the one you need? Or since there are many models, you like all of them and you wear several.

It is such a simple example that if it happens to us almost noble we give importance and think that it is normal, but in reality in these small details we begin to develop habits that can lead us to greed.

In some internet sites you can read about greed and they present it in a positive light, but then let's investigate what the bible tells us about it:

The bible says in 1 Timothy 6
10 because the root of all evils is the love of money, which, coveting some, strayed from the faith, and were pierced with many pains.

And in Deuteronomy 5
21 You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor shall you desire your neighbor's house, nor his land, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.

I think that with these two verses it is enough to understand and understand, because this is not good and God is forceful with this, we cannot let ourselves be carried away by the world, which wants to call the good bad and the bad good, Greed in no Presentation is good, because it leads to destruction and ultimately leads to ruin as a person, which will not allow you to enjoy what you have accumulated.

It is necessary that you understand that possessions do not fail you a life without problems and much less give you protection, We must get as far away as possible from that feeling since it tends to work in silence and when you realize it has blinded your understanding.

To get away from greed there are certain things that we can practice in our lives such as: Give generously to those in need, become more humble every day, do not feed pride, think of others, share the gifts that God has given you and do not give more importance to the material than it deserves, you can be a prosperous person without falling into this evil that we call greed.

Almost all of us have money and material things in our mind, and this is not bad, the bad thing is to love money, money and material goods are good when we make it available to others because we are giving it purpose, when we share it With those we love, if we meet the needs of others, God will take care of ours.
You fight greed with generosity, love of neighbor and humility.
