Humbleness in Our Outward Appearance

1 Peter 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

1 Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Our humble appearance in our Christian dressing matters a lot. Christian women are told to adorn themselves in shamefacedness.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Man looks on the outward appearance, while God looks on the heart. It is God who searches the heart,and also knows every heart, whether it is holy or not, whether the heart is evil or good. But people will only see your outward appearance, they might not know what you do in secret, but God knows. It is only you and God who know about your inner life, an ordinary man may not know it
It is what people see outside they copy or condom or follow.
It is what people will see on us that they will copy from. That is why, our dressing should be a model.even though you have holiness of the heart; you should also believe in the outward holiness; which has played a vital part in leading many to Christ, and not the inner only.
It is true that one may dress very godly, but inwardly full of wickedness and bad mind; but God still needs our shamefacedness.
