Philipp was born in Wolgast (Germany) on July 23, 1777. He was born into a family of shipbuilders. He was a German romantic painter and draftsman. He was active between the years 1797 and 1810. He died on December 2, 1810 in Hamburg (Germany), due to tuberculosis, when he was barely 33 years old.

Below we will present three of his works so that you can choose the one that most motivates you to write. The first is called: "We three" (1805), the second, "The artist's parents and children" (1806) and the third "The Hülsenbeck children " (1805)
