Epic days.

We are impressed because we have had an epic week, on Sunday was the launch of the StarShip, a test that has been a success and has been impressive, but also last Thursday new robots from Elon Musk were presented, by the way, there are also Robot dogs, can you imagine replacing pets with robots?

SpaceX had its fifth test launch of the StarShip and everything went well, the objectives were met, although surely for the technicians there will be some errors and details to correct, in addition, this test there were doubts that it could be done in October because the authority that regulates the issue of launches in the United States was investigating various issues and there was talk that the test would be delayed until the end of November, in fact there was a huge anger because SpaceX directly pointed out the United States government for putting the Artemis program at risk. since SpaceX has a contract with NASA to make a lunar lander and Starshil depends on these tests.

The lunar lander will be a version of the StarShip that we are seeing here, therefore, there were some statements, some more or less "thick" words but in the end it seems that they achieved it, they managed to do the test and they also achieved something incredible, something that was not I hoped it would be achieved.

What no one expected them to achieve was to catch the StarShip rocket the first time it happened and it would be a feat, because few things come out the first time in engineering, I say this from experience, but no one or very few of us believed that it could be achieved quickly. the first because that's what tests have, tests can fail a lot of things, but this time they succeeded.

Keep in mind that what this "Mechazilla" Tower does is trap the super heavy propellant, keep in mind that the StarShip is divided into two parts, one is the spaceship itself and the other is the rocket, the propellant that sends the ship to the space and what anything you load on top of it sends, because now SpaceX has a very powerful rocket that can send pieces, elements or structures into space quite easily.

The idea of this 71 structure is to be able to trap the rocket and thus facilitate the work for its reuse, because the idea is to be able to reuse these rockets and thus reduce costs, taking into account that rockets in the past were to be used and thrown away every Every time an Apollo rocket was launched, it was no longer used, it was the end, the Apollo rocket was over and the goal now is to be able to use these rockets several times.

The next thing after this is to develop the StarShip, I suppose they will begin to develop it internally, keep in mind that it was a shell, a test ship, no one could go inside and we must develop everything that is the habitability apparatus of that ship so that it can carry humans inside, test launches will also have to be carried out, it will not be the last and the objective is to use a version of the StarShip as a lunar lander would be a good principle.

The image above that NASA disseminates, in it the StarShip as an aterizer, a model that they are going to make specific but that I suppose will not be like that, as we are seeing, because this is not going to end well, this is going to end very badly, it is too much high, it would not have stability to be able to land, taking into account that the moon is not like the earth, there are no landing strips, one leg of that huge ship could be between rocks, another between sands and the third on a sloping terrain and The fourth God knows, which is quite sharp, I suppose what they will make will be a somewhat flatter ship, somewhat shorter and with much larger legs so that it can have a more stable hold. We will see how it ends, obviously this one has been a fundamental step.

Then that mission to the moon would be in 2026, it would be the first manned mission to the moon since the Apollo missions. Of course, the Chinese are not ahead of the curve and according to NASA, the first woman and the first person of color would go there. I am not sure if the She could be a woman of color and thus she would kill two men with one stone, that is NASA's priority plan.
