Very different worlds.

The new worlds are more strange and varied than we think, we have news of the exoplanet TRAPPIST-1 c, it is its interesting world because it is basically a twin of Venus or so it was believed.

TRAPPIST-1 c is one of the seven rocky planets orbiting an ultra-cool red dwarf star or M dwarf, it is located about 40 light years from Earth, it is about the same size as Venus, a daytime temperature of about 100 degrees Celsius and receives an amount of radiation from its star similar to what Venus receives from the sun.

So astronomers thought that this world would have a dense and thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide similar to what Venus has, to analyze the planet in more detail, scientists pointed the James Webb Space Telescope at it and surprise it turns out that it has a rocky surface. naked, it does not have a dense atmosphere.

If there is an atmosphere in that world it must be very thin, it is quite the opposite of what happens to Venus, astronomers have a hypothesis they believe that during the first billion years of the life of M dwarf stars, these stars emit X-rays bright and powerful ultraviolet radiation.

A radiation that can easily eliminate the atmosphere of a young exoplanet that is close to them, they also believe that this planet originally did not have enough water and gases available to create a substantial atmosphere and this means two things, the first is that the rest of planets in the TRAPPIST-1 c system can be very dry and with little water.

And the second, the atmosphere of Venus is dense because in its origins it had a lot of water, unlike TRAPPIST-1 c at its origin, Venus did have a lot of water, a water that for some reason turned into gas creating an atmosphere so dense that now we see.
