Lagerstroemia Indica 🌸
It’s called Lagerstroemia indica, the crape myrtle which is a species of flowering houseplant in the genus Lagerstroemia of the family of Lythraceae. It’s native to the Indian Subcontinent & also to the Southeast Asia, China, Korea & Japan.
The genus name honors Swedish botanist Magnus von Lagerstroem.
It’s used as anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, anticancer, anti-Alzheimer's, hepatoprotective and antithrombin effects respectively.
