Cold storage is a very important place to store potato seeds or yams. We have kept our seed potatoes in cold storage. Our land is almost ready, so we have to take the potatoes out of the cold storage. We have not been able to take the potatoes out for the last few days. Today we have to take the potatoes out.

I woke up in the morning and went outside with my blanket on, the sun was shining. I walked around for a while and came back home. I don't have much work today. I'm watching the people around me. Although we have finished bringing our rice, others are still busy bringing it home.

I went to the cold storage with my brother at 11 am today. Today we have to take out the potatoes. There is corruption among the coolies in the potato storage. The coolies are going beyond their rules and taking bribes to take out their potatoes first. We had asked the authorities to take out the potatoes on the 16th after paying the storage rent but the potatoes were not taken out even after 6 days. Today we also had to get involved in corruption. We also booked the coolies to take out the potatoes with extra money. We will take out the potatoes in the afternoon but now the vehicle to transport us has not come.

We returned home and had lunch and rested for some time. When our arranged pickup (car for transporting potatoes) called me, we went out to the potato storage again. We have a total of 88 sacks of potatoes. The potato storage is very large, so if the sacks come out of the storage, we have to keep them at our own risk, so we need to be there. The coolie workers are taking out the sacks of potatoes and arranging them in our car. The potato storage is the most visited place by potato traders. They occupy the balcony of the potato storage and have poured their potatoes for sale. Many traders are sorting their potatoes according to grade.

Our potato cart was loaded with 44 sacks for the first trip. We left for home with the potatoes. On arrival, we asked the porters to go home and unload our cart. When they arrived home, they unloaded the cart. We had to pay 10 BDT (. 40 steem) for each sack to be unloaded. I didn't have to go for the next trip because my brother was there.

Today, rice is being cooked again at my house. My mother cooked this rice. I was helping my mother in the next time.
