Hello dear steemians, my name is Ade but on this platform, I am known as @adeade. I am here to join the discussion about the winter season. As I always do, I would quickly describe some keywords in my piece for smooth reading. Here are the descriptions:

• Winter: this is the period of the year when the day is shorter than the night and the atmospheric temperature is usually at the lowest. The winter is usually characterized by snowy days and nights.

• Season: this is any of the divisions of the year. The temperate region has four seasons while the tropical region has two seasons.

• Tropical seasons: wet season and dry season.

• Temperate season: autumn, winter, summer and spring.

• Leather: this is a tough and lightweight material made from the skin of animals.

It is worthy of note that my location in the southern part of Nigeria does not experience winter. So therefore, my contribution won't be based on direct experience rather it will be imaginary.

Which is your favorite stuff to wear in winters?

Since winter is characterized by a very cold temperature, I would combine a very thick cotton fabric material for the inner wear with a jacket made of leather material to keep myself warm. Also, my trousers would be made of pure leather. I prefer leather trousers to jeans because leather has the ability to trap body heat within. My hat and stockens would be made of cotton while my hand gloves would be made of leather.

Which is your favorite color to wear in winters?

My favorite colors are blue and white, but this is winter we are discussing here. In science, it is said that light bodies reflect heat while dark bodies absorb heat. There is another law that says, when heat is transferred between two objects, the heat moves from the object with higher temperature to the object with the lower temperature - Newton law of cooling. Since heat would flow from the object with the higher temperature ( me) to the object with the lower temperature ( the environment), I will be needing a cloth capable of absorbing the heat from the environment and reflecting back the heat generated by my body. So to answer the question above, a deep blue jacket and a White sweater would be the appropriate combination for me.

Which is your favorite foot wear in winters?

In winter I would prefer a footwear that can repel both heat and water. For me to achieve this, I would go for a rain boot made of plant rubber ( the synthetic rubber are not so much heat resistant compare to the natural rubber material). Then, the boot must be black with a shiny inner surface.

In conclusion, most of my assertions above are theoretical or imaginary. I have never experienced winter, but I believe I can beat the cold associated with the season by my choice of combination and still remain trendy.
