Steemit unleashed the writing creativity in me

Hii friends, it's a beautiful day and I decided to write about steemit and how it has unleashed the creative writing skill in me.

I got to know about stemmit through a friend's parent who came visiting some time ago and told me I should join a beautiful platform called steemit saying that his daughter is also a part of the platform. He explained that it is all about writing quality information that will be of benefit to others and by being consistent in it. Immediately I heard those two words "writing" and "being consistent", i was suddenly interested.

The thought of writing makes me happy. Writing comes naturally to me. I've always loved it. Back then in high school we always wrote letters to our friends in the same class, passing pieces of papers and littering the whole class😁 Letters on trivial things or an inside joke… a friend wears a big skirt, an unpolished shoe or a freshly cut hair that doesn't seem that good especially in the first few days, or serious things as when a friend is so angry with another friend and can't talk face to face or when an information termed "secret" is to be passed to another person.

Before I knew steemit, I've always thought of starting a blog where I will post pictures and write about my day or a food recipe or some security information, an occasion i attended or just anything that will interest readers, still, I didn't know where exactly to post because I never liked writing on Facebook or Instagram, besides, getting readers that will really appreciate a writeup and building an audience will be very difficult.

So when I became a registered steemit member, I eagerly explored the platform, communities, contests and random people. I was so interested in seeing the friendly comments, the contests that makes one think again and the various communities that fit each aspect of life such as food , travel, fitness, teaching and so on. The contests has been the highlight of everything. Having a place where various contests topics are outlined and having to pick a favorite one or any that resonates with me also is an incredible feeling. It has really developed in me the power of logical thinking and deep reasoning.

Steemit has made me think before writing, i have developed the ability to form words that create a mental picture in the minds of readers, blogs that have interesting headings to encourage reading and to grow the overall welfare of the platform through solid posts that are of quality. Sometime ago a friend asked me about the platform and said "is that business really that good" and I replied "it's more like I'm doing a hobby and getting paid for it". I really don't see steemit as a business place but as a forum where we all can share valuable information and make friends.

At the end of each day, I always look forward to writing one or two on this platform and connecting with more people. Indeed, steemit has unleashed the writing creativity in me and made me see avenues to share thoughts and positive messages with people. Thank you for reading friends.
