My Father Is My Life

Mother's Days are often heard of and celebrated. This is to acknowledge what mothers do for their children, but are mothers the only ones who care for their children, what about fathers? There are fathers who go through a lot to give better lives to their children, who love their children unfailingly. Therefore, in this post, I will be writing about my father and the love my father and I share.

MY COMMENTS ABOUT YOUR FATHER

My father is my role model, my father is my friend, I learned so many things from my father.

My father is a very good man, he has been a motivation for so many people over the years, and he has successfully trained a few outstanding people I have gotten to know both academically and in craftsmanship.

I love so many things about my father, I am who I am today because of my father, and I would love to share a few of his endearing qualities that make people get closer to him.

HUMILITY: My father is humble, when I say humble I mean bringing down himself to the level where anyone can approach him without being scared.

DISCIPLINARIAN: Despite my father's simplicity he doesn't hesitate to give discipline whenever it calls for, he disciplines anybody who goes wrong.

LOVING: My father extends his love to everyone, he doesn't discriminate, whether you are his child or not he still shows the same kind of love to everyone.

My father makes efforts to provide for his family's needs, physically and spiritually, he sees to it that we don't lack essential things. He is a great provider.

MY LOVE FOR MY FATHER

I am the first child and the first daughter for that matter, you all know the bond between the first daughter and their father, my love for my father is a reciprocated love, he loves me so much that I have no excuse not to love him.
I love him naturally because we have the same blood, undiluted.

I remember when my father had an accident, he didn't want to call anyone else except me, he told those good Samaritans" Call my daughter, not my wife". the people were amazed to see such a bond.

On another occasion, my father lost his phone, he felt so bad that he was thinking about it all day and night, I couldn't stand to see him sad, so I bought my Dad a new phone.

Recently when I visited home, I found out that he was still wearing a mercury ring I bought for him in 2020, he had been wearing this ring day and night till it started affecting the nail of the very finger he wore the ring, so when I saw it I removed it and promised to give him a new ring, I have included that in my next budget.

MY FATHER'S EXPECTATIONS OF ME

My father has three main expectations;

First, I should gain admission to study my dream course and graduate with a good grade.

Secondly, I should have a well-paying job or have a good and lucrative business so that I can support myself and my family.

Thirdly I should get married to a good man and have my own family.

THE EXPECTATIONS OF MY FATHER THAT I HAVE FULFILLED

I have graduated from the University as expected, I am happily married with a child which means I have my own family as expected too.

THE EXPECTATION OF MY DAD I will DO

Having a well-paid job or a lucrative business is what I am hoping to get soon.

REGARDING OTHER FATHERS, MY ADVICE

Every child should love, respect, and cherish his father, I don't have much to advise but all I can say is that every father deserves the best because it is not easy for them.

---

Conclusively, my Dad is a humble, disciplined, and loving father who went out of his comfort zone to care for his family, he had the best expectations of me, like; attending the University and graduating with good grades, getting married to a good man, and having a well-paid job or a lucrative business. I have fulfilled two of his expectations - graduating with good grades and getting married to a good man, and by God's grace, I will fulfill the Job or business part soon. I love my Dad so dearly, and I feel good fathers should be treated with love and care.
